摘要： An electrophotographic copying machine including a copy enabling device, a mode switch, a detection device, and a control device. The mode switch is actuated to select a dual copy mode for copying at least two parts of a single document on one or more copy papers. The detection device is responsive to the mode switch for detecting whether the size of a copy paper to be used is within a predetermined range, for example, about half or less than the maximum size of a document to be disposed on a document table. The control device is responsive to the detection device for controlling execution of the dual copy mode.

The lens assembly is rigidly mounted on a lens mount movable in a direction perpendicular to the optical axis and mounted on a lens carriage movable in a direction close towards and away from a photoreceptor.

摘要： When an instruction to execute an image processing from a user is accepted through an operation panel, a control section temporarily stores image data read from an original or externally received image data in an HDD, and then, outputs processing information related to the image processing based on the accepted execution instruction and the image data stored in the HDD from a communication section to a server apparatus as historical data. When an obtaining completion signal representative of the completion of obtaining of the historical data is obtained from the server apparatus through the communication section, the control section performs the image processing on the image data stored in the HDD according to the accepted execution instruction. Then, the control section erases the image data subjected to the processing from the HDD.

摘要： A timing adjustment system in a copying machine includes a slit plate secured to a shaft of a photosensitive drum for developing a pulse signal of a period (t') in response to the rotation of the photosensitive drum. A copy paper supply system is enabled when a predetermined time has passed after an optical system initiates the movement. The predetermined time is determined by a pulse number (N) of the pulse signal and a time period (T) from the development of the N-th pulse signal. That is, the actual copy paper supply is conducted when (N.multidot.t'+T) has passed after the optical system initiated the movement. A modification preset system is provided for modifying the pulse number (N) to (N.sub.m) and the time period (T) to (T.sub.m) by taking account of the actual copying operation.
