摘要:
A porous hollow fiber membrane which has high blocking performance and high water permeability suitable for filtration and the like and exhibits excellent strength, and a process for stably producing the porous hollow fiber membrane are disclosed. The process utilizes a hollow fiber molding nozzle having two or more circular discharge ports which are disposed concentrically. Multilayer melt-extrusion is performed by discharging molten mixtures which include a thermoplastic resin and an organic liquid and differ in composition from the adjacent discharge ports. The resulting product is cooled to solidify to obtain a hollow fiber. The organic liquid is then removed from the hollow fiber by extraction to produce a porous hollow fiber membrane. The molten mixture discharged from at least one circular discharge port includes an inorganic fine powder in addition to the thermoplastic resin and the organic liquid. The inorganic fine powder is removed by extraction after cooling in addition to the organic liquid.

A wet cleaning apparatus can remove trace heavy metals, colloidal matter or other impurities contained in ultra-pure water to be used as rinse water in semiconductor cleaning processes and suppress deposit of trace impurities such as heavy metals or other particles that would otherwise cause characteristics of such devices to deteriorate. A wet cleaning apparatus for rinsing with ultra-pure water as a rinse liquid by supplying ultra-pure water through a piping to a rinse location inside the apparatus. The rinse location is a point of use of the ultra-pure water. The wet cleaning apparatus includes a module filled with porous film in which polymer chains having at least one of an anion exchange group, a cation exchange group, and a chelating group are held in the middle of the piping positioned inside the apparatus. The wet cleaning apparatus further includes a means for adding hydrogen gas to the rinse liquid.

There is provided a twin-belt casting machine which prevents an uneven cooling condition between the top surface and the bottom surface of a slab between a pair of endless belts disposed vertically. The twin-belt casting machine 1 comprises a pair of rotating belt units 3 including respective endless belts 2 and arranged up and down so as to face each other, a cavity 4 formed between the pair of rotating belt units 3, and cooling means 10 which is arranged inside the rotating belt unit 3. The twin-belt casting machine 1 continuously casts a slab S as a metal liquid is supplied in the cavity 4. The twin-belt casting machine 1 further comprises distance adjusting means which is arranged inside at least one of the pair of rotating belt units arranged up and down so as to face each other, and which moves apart or closer the endless belt relative to the slab S in accordance with a part where the slab and the endless belt become distant from each other.

A selectively ion-adsorptive, porous membrane comprising a membranous, porous resin matrix of a hydrophobic polyolefin or a hydrophobic copolymer of an olefin and a halogenated olefin and a plurality of side chains chemically bonded to both surfaces, which in turn are inclusive of pore wall surfaces, of the membranous porous resin matrix is disclosed. The side chains collectively contain both neutral hydroxyl groups and ion exchange groups. The selectively ion-adsorptive, porous membrane is suitable for use in selective purification or selective removal of desired ionic substances including not only ionic inorganic substances but also an ionic organic substances, such as a protein and an amino acid, on a commercial scale. Further, the selectively ion-adsorptive, porous membrane has not only excellent heat resistance, but also excellent mechanical strength. Therefore, the porous membrane of the present invention can advantageously be used for industrial applications, such as pharmacy, fermentation and the like.

The present invention provides a PVDF porous film, which has high water permeability and high chemical resistance to washing chemicals and the like that has been difficult to realize with conventional polymer porous films, and which can be used over a prolonged period of time; and a method of producing the same and the like. Namely, the present invention provides a porous film in which the degree of crystallization of the PVDF resin is 50% or more but not more than 90%, and the product of the degree of crystallization of the PVDF resin and the specific surface area of the film is 300 (%·m2/g) or more but not more than 2000 (%·m2/g). In addition, the present invention provides a method for producing a porous film comprising: producing a porous film having a PVDF resin as a main component thereof by extruding, from a molding nozzle, a film-forming solution which at least comprises a hydrophobic polymer component having a PVDF resin as a main component thereof, a hydrophilic polymer component and a common solvent for both the hydrophobic and hydrophilic polymer components, and solidifying the film-forming solution in a solution having water as a main component thereof, wherein polyethylene glycol having a weight average molecular weight of 20,000 or more but not more than 150,000 is used as the hydrophilic polymer component.
