The present invention provides a medical material having a hydrophilic polymer compound immobilized on the surface thereof, in which a compound and a copolymer of monomers selected from the group consisting of ethylene glycol, vinyl acetate, vinyl pyrrolidone, propylene glycol, vinyl alcohol and siloxane are bound.
