The content management device comprises a content storage unit stored with one or more contents, a move information management unit stored with first range information indicating the partial or entire range of the content to be moved, a range information receiving unit for accepting second range information indicating the range requiring the move, from one terminal device, a judgement unit for deciding whether or not the range indicated by the first range information and the range indicated by the second range information overlap at least partially, and a control unit for permitting the required range to be moved to the terminal device, in case the decision by the judgement unit is NO.

    摘要: In a network system for transmitting and receiving contents with one or more pieces of additional information corresponding to an internal attribute of the contents, a contents server can decide the data to be transmitted without regard to a division transfer method supposed for a contents receiving apparatus. The contents server includes storage unit holding one or more contents, contents data acquisition unit receiving a data request including request range information of the contents out of consideration for the additional information and extracting the data of the contents in a requested range out of the storage unit, and transmitting unit transmitting the extracted data of the contents with the additional information. The recording and reproducing apparatus selects an exchange key to be used according to the address of a recording and reproducing apparatus which is the transmission destination when encrypting an AV content to be transmitted.

    摘要: The invention provides a communication network system which permits parallel access of a plurality of nodes to a transmission line and which has a high throughput and low delay, with fairness among the nodes maintained. In the communication network system, a plurality of tokens correspondingly associated with the nodes, respectively, are allowed to circulate on the transmission line. Each node is allowed to transmit data only when the frame insertion buffer is empty. The node, when having data to be transmitted, awaits the arrival of a token. If a token that has arrived corresponds to the self node, or if a node corresponding to the arrived token is downstream of the destination node as viewed from the own self node, the node forms a packet from its holding data and transmits it onto the transmission line.
