    摘要: Disclosed is a phosphor raw material which enables the production of phosphors with excellent characteristics and only small amounts of impurities. Specifically disclosed is a phosphor raw material that is in the form of an alloy and contains at least Si and one or more metal elements other than Si. Also disclosed is a method for producing an alloy for phosphor precursor that contains tetravalent metal elements M4 including at least Si and one or more alkaline earth metal elements as divalent metal elements M2. This method for producing an alloy for phosphor precursor is characterized in that a step of melting Si and/or an alloy containing Si is performed before a step of melting alkaline earth metals.
