    摘要: A liquid crystal device for driving a liquid crystal by an electric field generally in parallel with a substrate plane. In this liquid crystal device, voltage waveforms having phases different by a half period are separately applied to even row common electrode lines 5 and odd row common electrode lines 6, so that the charging/discharging of the inline parasitic capacitance in the liquid crystal device, created at a polarity inversion time, are reduced to decrease the power consumption. In order to reduce the bluntness of a common electrode driving signal at a thin film transistor liquid crystal display panel, moreover, a common electrode driving unit includes differential signal superposing means for generating a differential signal and superposing it upon the common electrode driving signal.

    摘要: A content control system capable of controlling delivery destinations of user contents in respective groups, identifying each group through which each content is delivered, and delivering information/advertisements according to the attribution information of the content. In a content control server, group identifying information is set in each user content to be uploaded to or downloaded from a group memory area corresponding to a gateway ID from a terminal through a gateway having a plurality of its subordinate terminals. The information identifies each gateway through which each object content is delivered according to the gateway ID. The control system controls the delivery destination of each content according to the combination of the content delivery route and a table prepared in the content control server.

The display device includes a determination circuit for determining at least one of a plurality of divided regions of higher generation frequency of gradation than that of other divided regions based on the luminance distribution, a correction circuit for correcting the video data so as to make a luminance characteristic of the at least one of the plurality of divided regions of higher generation frequency of gradation more abrupt than a luminance characteristic of the other divided regions, and a liquid crystal display panel for displaying the corrected video data.     摘要: The present invention is intended to provide a call system which can authenticate a call initiation request from a proxy dial server apparatus with a caller number specified by the proxy dial server apparatus without adding special processing. In the configuration according to the present invention, proxy dial server apparatus first requests telephone server apparatus to call a telephone number of a user. In this event, proxy dial server apparatus uses the telephone number of the user as a caller ID. Upon receipt of a call request, telephone server apparatus transmits an authentication challenge to proxy dial server apparatus for authenticating the caller ID. Upon receipt of the authentication challenge, proxy dial server apparatus generates a response using a user ID and a password previously registered in association with the user's telephone. This results in successful authentication by telephone server apparatus, allowing a call to terminate at the user's telephone number.
