    摘要: The present invention provides a data hiding method of hiding media data in message data and a data extraction method of extracting the hidden data wherein message data is dispersively hidden in media data such as an image or sound to prevent a third person from modifying the message data easily.More specifically, the present invention relates to a data hiding method in which media data is expressed as a media array while message data is expressed as a message array so that the array elements of the message array can be dispersively hidden in the message array based on a state values specifying a particular array element of the media array, comprising the steps of:(a) determining the j-th (j.gtoreq.0) state value S.sub.j ;(b) determining (j+1)-th state value S.sub.j+1 based on the j-th state value, the array element of the media array indicated by the j-th state value, and the array element of the message array; and(c) hiding data with respect to the array element of the media array indicated by the (j+1)-th state value S.sub.j+1.

    摘要: A digital camera for embedding authentication information to detect the identity of a photographed image into an image. By supplying the authentication information integrally with image data, the verifier is enabled to verify the image data without saving the authentication information. Particularly, by converting the light inputted through an optical system to an electric signal, a CCD outputs an analog signal of an image which is converted to a digital signal. In response to the digital signal of the image, a digital camera having a region dividing unit divides the digital image into first and second regions. Authentication information is generated from data in the first region, which information is then encrypted. The encrypted authentication information is embedded into the second image region. The first and second image regions are then combined.

    摘要: A method and apparatus are described by which a geometric model accurately reflecting the intention of the designer can be simply constructed in the generation or modification of a geometric model, without any constraint on operation such as an input order. Using geometric elements (planes, sides, vertexes, etc.) and geometric constraints (size, angle, etc.) between the elements as inputs, bidirectional dependency relation expressions for these geometric elements are created in a dependency relation expression generating mechanism of a geometric reasoning module, and based upon the expressions dependency conditions (dependency order data) are automatically calculated in a dependency order calculating mechanism. Then, attribute values of the geometric elements are determined in a geometric attribute calculating mechanism, and a geometric model is generated in a modeler and outputted to a display device. In order to modify the model, the geometric element to be subjected to a modification process is calculated using memory dependency order data in a conflict detecting and resolving mechanism, and the attribute value of the element is determined. In addition, excessive and conflict geometric constraints are detected, and a conflict resolving action is presented on the display device.

    摘要: A technique to synthesize an accurate solid model from drawing data. Closed regions are detected based on top view data and a closed region list is generated. A tree structure is detected and the list is converted to symbol groups, each of which is a set of symbols representative of the elements of the contour line of the closed region and symbols representative of a connection relationship between the elements. When the converted symbol groups include a symbol group having a specific symbol, that symbol group is divided into a plurality of symbol groups based on that specific symbol. The symbol groups are matched, and the area of the closed region is detected. Symbol groups of closed regions of the same shape are classified and symbol groups of closed regions of the same area are classified. From the classified symbol groups, symbol groups of closed regions having a child of the closed region of the same shape and area are classified, and a solid model is constructed.

    摘要: A system and method for inputting two-dimensional drawing data and classifying that drawing data into plan view data and sectional view data. Closed regions and inclusion relations among the respective closed regions are detected from the classified plan view data. Attributes of the detected closed regions are detected, and the detected closed regions are grouped into groups, each including closed regions of the same attributes based on the detected attributes of the closed regions. The sectional view data is divided on the basis of data on the detected closed regions. Some of the closed regions are three-dimensionalized based on the divided sectional view data. Closed regions not belonging to the three-dimensionalized portion of the closed regions but belonging to the same group as a three-dimensionalized closed region are three-dimensionalized by the same method as was used for the three-dimensionalized closed region. A solid model is generated by combining the three-dimensionalized closed regions through Boolean operations performed on the basis of the inclusion relation among the respective closed regions.

    摘要: Cryptographic communication system including a sender terminal for encrypting and transmitting a message, a recipient terminal for receiving and decrypting the encrypted message, an agent terminal for decrypting the message in place of the recipient terminal, and a conversion server for supporting the agent terminal to decrypt the message. The sender terminal encrypts the message using a public key of the recipient terminal. Using a public key of the conversion server, a predetermined restricted condition, and a secret key for decryption of the message, the recipient terminal generates a delegation key allowing decryption of the message under the restricted condition and passes the delegation key to the agent terminal. The conversion server validates a power of the agent terminal to decrypt the message based on the information contained in the delegation key from the agent terminal. The agent terminal then decrypts the message with validation of the conversion server.
