摘要: In a temperature gradient adjustor for a temperature-compensated electronic watch, the temperature gradient adjusting range can be widened without any drop in the temperature gradient adjusting resolution of a temperature sensitive oscillator by adding a roughly temperature gradient adjusting variable frequency divider for variably dividing the frequency of the output of a temperature sensitive oscillator and by operating the temperature gradient adjustor at a value which is prepared by adding a constant numerical value to temperature gradient adjusting numerical information.A constant voltage supplying to a temperature sensitive oscillator can be finely adjusted from external side so as to optimize a linearity of frequency versus temperature characteristic.

摘要: A photoelectric pulsation type pulsimeter irradiates the ray of light to a capillary blood vessel of a finger tip or the like and detects the level of the reflected ray of light changing with the pulsation as the pulsation. The present invention improves stability of the pulse rate display by disposing pulse width evaluation means between a pulsation detection circuit for detecting the pulsation and pulsation calculation means for measuring the period of the pulsation signal and calculating the pulse rate per minute. The pulse width evaluation means evaluate the pulse signal outputted from the pulsation detection circuit and the pulse rate calculated by the pulsation calculation means.

摘要: A self-chargeable timepiece includes a pair of small and large capacitors having respective small and large capacities and selectively disconnectably connected at their respective terminals to time-keeping circuitry and a solar cell. The pair of small and large capacitors cooperate with each other during the momentary operation of the solar cell for selectively receiving and storing the electric charge to develop respective terminal voltages across their respective terminals even after the momentary operation of the solar cell. A detector periodically detects the terminal voltages of the small and large capacitors during the time-keeping operation. A switching circuit responds to the detected terminal voltages for selectively connecting and disconnecting the small and large capacitors to and from the time-keeping circuitry to enable the small and large capacitors to selectively power the time-keeping circuitry. A regulating circuit operates when the time-keeping circuitry is powered by the small capacitor for regulating the detector to effect the periodical detection of the terminal voltages at relatively short time intervals and operates when the time-keeping circuit is powered by the large capacitor for regulating the detector to effect the periodical detection of the terminal voltages at relatively long time intervals.

摘要: An ECU has an enclosure which is contained in the casing of an automatic transmission, which is formed of a material having low heat conductivity, and which provides liquid-tight containment of a substrate. A heat sink is attached to the substrate so as to dissipate heat from an electronic circuit on the substrate. The heat sink is attached in contact with an inner wall surface of the enclosure, so that heat produced by the electronic circuit is dissipated via the heat sink and the enclosure.

摘要: A soldering iron (and a desoldering iron) with a replaceable tip, which is releasably securable on the forward heat-conducting end of a soldering (or desoldering) iron heat assembly. The tip has a tapered heat conducting core in a tip cap. The face of the core can have a depression for mating engagement with a protrusion of the heat-conducting end. Also, the face can lie in the rear plane of the tip cap. An assembly which allows for the easy removal and application of a replacement tip can include a sleeve with tightening bolt, a coil spring sleeve, or a slotted compressible sleeve. The tip can thus be replaced after it has worn out, and the heat assembly unit need not be replaced until it has burnt out. Methods of manufacturing and using the tip are also disclosed.

摘要: To make such that, in a case displaying the fact that a time code could not be normally received in an analog radio-controlled timepiece, by a simple constitution there is performed a display having no sense of discomfort for a user. In a case where there could not be normally received in a time code reception operation in the last time, a second hand is normally moved by 1 second. In a case where there failed in a reception, after the second hand was normally moved till a 55-second position, the second hand is stopped at the 55-second position till a second time instant becomes 59 seconds. When it became 59 seconds, by fast-forwarding the second hand till an exact second position, the fact that the time code could not be normally received is displayed by the display having no sense of discomfort for the user without using an exclusive display means, and the like.

摘要: The present invention aims to prevent a main drive pulse from being moved to a rank having a potential to cause a non-rotating state. A detection segment for detecting a rotating state of a stepping motor is divided into a first segment immediately after the drive with a main drive pulse, a second segment, and a third segment and, when the stepping motor is rotated by the main drive pulse, the main drive pulse is not changed when a detection signal exceeding a reference threshold voltage is detected at least in the first and second segments. When it is detected only in the first and third segments, or detected only in the third segment, the rank is moved upward and, when it is not detected in any segment, or detected only in the first segment, the rank is moved upward after the drive with a corrective drive pulse. When it is detected only in the second segment or detected only in the second and third segments, the rank is moved downward.
