摘要： In a control valve for permitting a valve to open when pressure applied to the valve exceeds a given value so as to escape a given flow rate through a gap defined around the valve, it prevents the valve from floating between a valve seat and a stopper and prevent the valve from striking against the valve seat, the inner surface of a casing and a stopper, thereby preventing the production of noise. The gap defined between the periphery of the valve and a casing is set to be small while the velocity V of the fluid flowing through the gap is increased so as to increase resistance force operating on the valve, whereby the valve always contacts the stopper whenever the valve is opened. There is provided a fluid passage through which fluid passes inside and outside the valve for compensating the flow rate which corresponds to the reduced flow rate caused by the reduction of the gap.

摘要： A hydraulic reaction force apparatus of a power steering device includes an input shaft, an output shaft, the input and output shafts being connected with each other to be pivotal through a predetermined angle, reaction force arms connected integrally with the input shaft and projecting radially therefrom, a pair of output shaft guide holes sandwiching each reaction force arm and disposed to oppose each other in a direction perpendicular to the reaction force arms, reaction force plungers slidably disposed in the guide holes, and a reaction force mechanism for biasing the reaction force plungers against the reaction force arms by a reaction force applied to the reaction plungers and related to running conditions. Each reaction force plunger includes a metal cylindrical member having a hollow portion open at a side opposite to that of the reaction force arms and a damping member mounted in the cylindrical member.

摘要： A wiper device for a vehicle disclosed is provided with a wiper motor, a wiper pivot connected to the wiper motor, and a pivot holder having a base portion attached to the vehicle body and a bearing portion connected to the base portion and pivotally supporting the wiper pivot in a rotatable manner. In this case, the wiper pivot can rotate around the pivot axis thereof by using a drive force from the wiper motor, and the wiper pivot extends so as to project toward an outer side of the vehicle body. Then, in the structure mentioned above, it is further constructed in such a manner that at least a part of the bearing portion is released from the vehicle body when a load equal to or more than a predetermined value acts on the wiper pivot so as to move the wiper pivot to the inner portion of the vehicle body.

摘要： A stop valve structure that is accommodated in a fuel tank includes a casing, a float disposed inside the casing for reciprocating movement within the casing, a bottom wall defining a lower end of the casing, at least one hole provided along the periphery of the bottom wall, and a valve opening that is selectively opened and closed by the reciprocating movement of the float within the casing in accordance with a liquid fuel level within the casing. The float is provided with a tapered portion at the lower end thereof which becomes smaller in diameter toward the lower end of the casing. The float is further provided with a valve seat in an upper portion thereof. A valve mounting portion is disposed inside the casing and a valve element is mounted to said valve mounting portion. The valve seat cooperates with the valve element to selectively open and close the valve opening. These features ensure the operational stability and smoothness of the stop valve.

摘要： To supply hydraulic fluid to a hydraulic apparatus, a plurality of pumps are used. One of the pumps is used as a main pump while the remaining pump or pumps are used as sub-pumps. A flow path switching mechanism selectively disconnects the sub-pumps from a supply passage to the hydraulic apparatus. In this manner, a required minimum supply of hydraulic fluid is assured with a simple arrangement while eliminating wasteful energy loss and reducing the dissipation of the horsepower. A reliable operation is maintained without any adverse influence upon the hydraulic apparatus. In one embodiment, a pair of pumps, and a control including a pair of switching valves operating as a pressure sensor and a flow controller are assembled into a pump body. The switching valves assure a reasonable supply of hydraulic fluid to the hydraulic apparatus while minimizing the dissipation of the horsepower. At this end, a pump receiving space is defined within the pump body, and a pair of valve openings are formed around the space and close to each other so that their axes extend parallel to each other. Openings and passages are cast into the pump body or formed by a simple boring operation to provide a communication between these elements. In this manner, the overall arrangement is simple and the manufacturing and assembly are facilitated, reducing the manufacturing cost. A reduction in the size and the weight of the overall unit is achieved.
