    摘要: The present invention sufficiently reduces unwanted radiation in a plasma display panel (PDP) display device. The display device includes a PDP having a pair of electrodes, a first, a second, and a third conductive member, and a pair of driving circuits used to apply a voltage to their respective electrodes. Each conductive member has substantially the same width and height as the PDP, and the first, second, third conductive members are disposed on the rear surface of the PDP, in this order on the rear side of the PDP. The PDP and the conductive members are connected electrically to one another in the end portions of these elements, either directly or via the driving circuits, so that the direction of the current flowing in the PDP during driving and discharge coincides with the direction of the current flowing in the third conductive member, and is opposite from the direction of the current flowing in the first conductive member and the second conductive member.

    摘要: The present invention provides a shield structure for an electronic device allowing conductive members to be connected electrically to each other at low impedance while preventing the leakage of electromagnetic waves effectively. The first conductive member and the second conductive member for enclosing the electronic device respectively have laid portions that are laid one on the other and fastened to each other at plural positions by means of screw members. Through-holes into which the screw members are to be inserted are formed on both of the laid portions. Protruding portions, which protrude toward the laid portion of the second conductive member, each are formed between the adjacent through-holes on the laid portion of the first conductive member. The protruding portions each have a shape extending in the direction connecting the adjacent through-holes and bulging from both ends toward the center thereof in a smooth curve.

    摘要: An electronic device (e.g., a display device) (101) is connected with an external connection device (e.g., an image recording/playback device) (201), thereby to perform data communications. A controller (103) of the electronic device (101) decides, in case it receives operation information, whether or not an operation screen (GUI) for the electronic device (101) is displayed. When the operation screen is displayed, the controller (103) further decides whether or not a key (a reception key) corresponding to the received operation information is effective for the operation screen. The controller (103) performs, when the reception key is effective for the operation screen, a control responding to the reception key, and, when the reception key is not effective for the operation screen, sends the received operation information to the external connection device (201). With the operation screens of both the electronic device and the external connection device being simultaneously displayed, one remote control makes only one operative, while the operation screens of the two being prevented from simultaneously operating.

    摘要: An editing apparatus for use with a tape-form recording medium is provided in which, according to a positioning signal and a tracking pilot signal multiplex-recorded into the first recording area of each track of the recording medium which consists of a plurality of recording areas separated from each other by gaps, a pilot sampling signal for determining the timing of sampling and an editing timing signal for determining the recording location in a desired recording area following the first recording area are produced. After the tracking control is executed through sampling the tracking pilot signals from adjacent tracks at the timing of the pilot sampling signal, a data signal is recorded into the desired recording area after the first recording area according to the editing timing signal.

    摘要: A magnetic recording and reproducing apparatus includes: a recorder for recording information signals so as to form tracks obliquely on a magnetic tape, and for recording pilot signals so that the frequency may differ between different modes such as SP and LP; a reproducing head for reproducing recorded information; an error detecting circuit for comparing the level difference of pilot signals recorded in both tracks adjacent to the track to be scanned by there producing head and for outputting a tracking error signal; and a controller for controlling the feed of the magnetic tape so that the tracking error signal may be balanced. Preferably, in the LP mode, a pilot signal of a higher frequency than that used in the SP mode is recorded. In a tracking error detector for a magnetic recording and reproducing apparatus for detecting the pilot signal, the reproduced signals are sampled at a frequency at a common multiple of each pilot frequency, a pilot signal is detected, and a tracking error signal is output.
