    摘要: A system for synthesizing an image signal for a main scene with a plurality of image signals from image pickup devices for taking inset scenes displays the inset scenes over the main scene on a single screen. The system forms a signal representative of a drive timing for a TV inset scene camera, from a synchronizing signal in an image signal for one main scene. The TV inset scene camera is actuated by the drive timing to provide an inset scene image signal synchronizing with the synchronizing signal of the main scene. The drive timing serves to switch the main scene image signal and the inset scene image signal from one to another to synthesize another image signal. If a plurality of image pickup devices are provided remotely from each other, these image pickup devices are connected with each other through a communication line. The synchronizing signal separated from the main scene image signal is supplied to each inset scene image pickup device through the communication line while the image signal from the inset scene image pickup device without a synchronizing signal is fed to the main scene image pickup device through a common communication line.

    摘要: An image pickup unit and an image processing unit are provided, each inexpensively achieving both of far distance photographing and near distance photographing in a simple configuration. In an image processing section 12, a correction coefficient selection section 123 selects one of a correction coefficient k1 for a distant object and a correction coefficient k2 for a proximate object in response to a mode setting signal input by a user, and outputs the selected correction coefficient to a deblurring processing section 122. The deblurring processing section 122 performs blur correction to image data D2 based on imaging data D0 with use of the selected correction coefficient. This allows appropriate blur correction to the imaging data of each of the distant object and the proximate object.

    摘要: The horizontal synchronous signal and the vertical synchronous signal included in a composite synchronous signal which is output from one TV camera are separated from the composite synchronous signal. A plurality of TV cameras are controlled on the basis of the horizontal synchronous signal and the vertical synchronous signal so as to produce synchronized video signals from the plurality of TV cameras. These synchronized video signals are easy to compound. In the blanking period of the vertical synchronous signal, the rise period of the synchronous signal is 1/2 of the period of the vertical synchronous signal. Pulses are eliminated alternately in the blanking period by a half killer circuit including a counter and a decoder and having a simple structure, thereby generating a horizontal synchronous signal appropriate for driving the TV cameras. The counter composed of Johnson counters connected in multiple stages reduces the amount of current flowing to the counter, thereby eliminating the deleterious influence on the TV cameras.

    摘要: An image pickup section includes the number of pixels in the vertical direction which is decreased one-half less than the number of scan lines. A signal containing image components is outputted every one horizontal line. The horizontal line containing the image components in an odd field is offset from that in an even field by one line. In both the odd and even fields, leach of these image signals are multiplexed on a signal delayed by one horizontal scan period to form an image signal which contains the same image components for each two horizontal lines. This image signal is then displayed in the non-interlace manner.

    摘要: A video signal obtained by a solid-state image pickup device is supplied to a display apparatus to display an image. The number of the pixels of the solid-state image pickup device is smaller (e.g., 1/4) than that of the screen of the display apparatus. The transfer clock of the solid-state image pickup device is so controlled that the video signal output therefrom corresponds to an image displayed at the region of 1/4 of the reproducing screen. The video signals from four solid-state image pickup devices are compounded so as to display an image composed of four divided images on one screen. A synchronizing signal which is a reference for the transfer clock is transmitted from the display apparatus so as to synchronize the four video signals. In another mode, the transfer clock is so controlled as to enlarge a video signal which corresponds to an image for the 1/4 region of the reproducing signal and display the image on the entire part of the reproducing screen.
