摘要： A serial printer comprises a printing head, a carrier for carrying the printing head, a platen, and a pair of guide members extending in parallel with the platen for supporting the carrier in a movable manner. An openable member is attached openably to the casing of the printer and supporting one of the guide members. Engaging receivers are formed in the carrier for allowing the one guide member to engage therewith and disengage therefrom in a direction substantially perpendicular to the extending direction of the one guide member. Engaging brackets may be mounted on the printing head for coming into and out of engagement with one of the guide members at a right angle with respect to the extending direction of the one guide member. Moving members may be supported movably in the casing of the printer for supporting the one guide member, when moved, to bring the one guide member into and out of an engagement with the engaging brackets. One of the pair of guide members can be supported by a front cover which can open and close a printer case. Because of the above described construction, the printing head guide can be made compact in size, light in weight and inexpensive to manufacture.

摘要： A first symbol and a second symbol constituting a composition symbol “horse” are arranged on an inner reel and an outer reel respectively. When the outer reel is rotated and it is determined to display the composition symbol, the inner reels of first though third reel units are stopped so as to align the first symbols at a reference position, which is set relative to a central game line. After that, the outer reels of the first through third reel units are rotated and are stopped so as to align the second symbols on the central game line. When aligning the composition symbols “horse” on the central game line, the inner reel is rotated by a predetermined angle in forward and backward directions. This operation is carried out prescribed times to perform dynamic attraction in that pupil of the horse is changed.

摘要： Behind a display window, plural of reel units are disposed. Each of the reel units has an outer reel and an inner reel that are coaxially and independently rotated. The inner reel carries plural inner symbols at a predetermined pitch. The outer reel carries outer symbols representing conditions of a second rotation of the inner reel. The plural inner reels stop rotating to complete a symbol combination. When the symbol combination for losing is completed, the outer reel is rotated and stopped. Then the second rotation of the inner reel starts rotating, which carries the inner symbol on which the outer symbol is disposed. In the second rotation, a rotational direction and a rotational speed is determined in accordance with a kind of the outer symbol. When the second rotation of the inner reel stops, another symbol combination is completed on the winning line.

摘要： A dice game machine using a die in the shape of a regular hexahedron or dodecahedron. Each side of the die has a drawing of a symbol and is provided with a plurality of magnet pins having a pattern identifying the symbol on the opposite side. This die is accommodated in a rotatable cup having an upper portion, a lower portion, and a base opening. During the rotation of the cup, the die moves freely in the upper portion of the cup. When the rotation of the cup stops, the die falls into the lower portion of the cup in a predetermined posture. The die then has a bottom side in contact with a stage via the base opening. A plurality of Hall elements are disposed on the stage to detect corresponding magnet pins. A symbol identified by signals from the Hall elements is displayed on a display. Signals from a plurality of dice game machines are supplied to a computer which displays a combination of a plurality of symbols on the display.

A plurality of different colored patterned portions are disposed in a peripheral series about the inner reel. Any of the patterned portions can be stopped in the display window. One of the patterned portions stopped in the display window becomes observable through the transparent portion when the transparent symbol is stopped in the display window, and is combined with the transparent symbol, to constitute a compound symbol. The inner and outer reels may instead be inner and outer endless belts.

Once the balls have been received and detected, the game is over and the balls in the storage member are dropped into the storage area for the next game. A motor drives a screw rod in order to open a bottom of the storage member in order to release the balls that have fallen into the storage member. The motor moves the bottom back into place to close the bottom for the next game.

The rubber-modified styrene type resin composition is excellent in its sliding properties and thus does not provide a molded product having poor appearance during molding. The rubber-modified styrene type resin composition is used to form mechanical parts in the fields of household appliances and OA apparatuses.

摘要： A resin composition having excellent antistatic properties and practical physical properties. The resin comprises (i) a styrene resin; (ii) a polyethylene oxide having a viscosity-average molecular weight ranging from 15,000 to 1,200,000; (iii) either or both of a (meth) acrylate resin and an oxide selected from the group consisting of titanium oxide, zinc oxide and magnesium oxide; (iv) either a surfactant selected from specific sulfonic acid salts or a surfactant selected from specific alkyl sulfates; and, optionally, (v) a (poly)ethylene glycol having an average molecular weight ranging from 62 to 1,200. The resin composition also provides excellent resistance to hot water.
