摘要: When performing migration of data from a migration source file server which is not endowed with any HSM interface, to a migration destination file server which is endowed with HSM, a volume of high capacity is needed for the migration destination file server, and moreover the performance deteriorates directly after the migration. However, with this system, the manager is enabled to set a migration policy using attribute information which can be acquired through a standard file access interface possessed by a file server program, and, when setting the attribute information of the migration destination file, the tier of the file which is to be created is determined, and the migration destination file is created, on the basis of this attribute information and migration policy.

摘要: There is provided a file management system and method of creating a hierarchy management file capable of preventing an access performance from dropping when a user accesses to a file. According to the system and method, a server creates file systems in high-speed and low-speed volumes and a file-sharing server virtually integrates those file systems into one system as a pseudo file system. Then, the server moves a file to be moved to the file system created in the low-speed volume in advance, not when an access is made to the file. When a user accesses to the file after that, the user directly accesses to destination without requiring tcopying the file, so that the accessing performance may be prevented from dropping.

摘要: Time required for a file server to determine files to be migrated from a first storage region to a second storage region is reduced. A file service system coupled to the storage system for providing a first storage region and a second storage region stores identifiers of files that have been accessed by a client, in accessed file identifier information and determines the files to be migrated from the first storage region to the second storage region based on metadata of the files stored in the first storage region and the accessed file identifier information.

摘要: In a conventional CAM apparatus, cutting regions and a tool axis angle by which the cutting time is minimized cannot be automatically set for a finish shape having a free formed surface shape. Accordingly, the CAM apparatus generates quadrangle-shaped patterns of cutting regions using coordinate data of a finish shape and an initial shape. Triangle-shaped cutting regions are generated for concave-convex faces of the finish shape. For cutting regions generated by subtraction by boolean operation with a subtract shape calculated by subtraction by boolean operation between the initial shape and the finish shape, the tool axis angle is set so that the tool does not interfere and the face is maximized. For other regions, the tool axis is set so as to satisfy a remainder standard and to minimize a tool path length.

摘要: In an arrangement design of a robot cell and of robot work, a planning device searches an arrangement graph, that shows candidates for relative positions and orientations between a robot and a fixture; searches a disassembly task sequence, of disassembly tasks that are operations of the robot for disassembling components from the assembly in an arrangement of the relative positions and orientations between the robot and the fixture, and searches for, based on a point sequence of positioning relay points of the robot, a trajectory in which the robot disassembles the components from the assembly; and generates assembly tasks formed of a point sequence obtained by reversing the point sequence of the relay points, an assembly trajectory of the robot which is reverse to a disassembly trajectory formed of interpolation points between the point sequences, and an assembly sequence, which is a reverse order of the disassembly task sequence.
