摘要: A packet scheduling apparatus and method using an adaptation round-robin method is disclosed. In order to schedule services of a plurality of flows over a high-speed communication network in which the flows share a single link, the packet scheduling method includes the steps of: a) receiving various-sized packets, and storing the received packets while being classified according to flows on the basis of packet flow information of individual packets; b) if a flow to be serviced is transitioned from an idle mode to an active mode, adding an identifier (ID) of the corresponding flow to the tail of an active flow list; c) if the corresponding flow's, ID is located at the top of the active flow list, providing a head packet of the corresponding flow; d) increasing a service count by a predetermined number corresponding to the size of the serviced packet, and establishing a maximum service count; e) providing the next packet in consideration of the service count of the service flow and a next-packet size; and f) if the service count of the corresponding flow and the next-packet size are higher than the maximum service count, providing the next flow. Therefore, service fairness and low latency are implemented.

摘要: A method for implementing a redundant structure of an ATCA system via a base interface of a network system based on an ATCA standard, and the ATCA system for use in the same are disclosed. Each of routing protocol shelves and LI shelves includes two ports connected to two IPC paths provided from the base interface, such that a representative IP address is assigned to a single port to be used, performs IPC communication using the representative IP address. If a port error or link-down state occurs, the representative IP address is assigned to the other port, resulting in the implementation of stable IPC communication. If the port error or link-down state occurs in an active-mode ShMC shelf, an IPC path passing through a standby-mode ShMC shelf is provided.

摘要: The present apparatus classifies the network system into a forwarding plane and a control plane, arranges a service combination controller at the control plane, arranges a service connection agent at the forwarding plane, and defines an application program and a binary code of a network processor as a component for each service. Therefore, if a new service addition request occurs in the system, the service combination controller transmits a service addition message to the service connection agent of the forwarding plane, and the service connection agent performs a binding process between the pre-defined functional component and the binary code of a network processor. If a new service request associated with a device including a specific network service occurs, only the new service function is added to a common platform, such that the resultant system can be made commercially available, resulting in reduction of a product development time.

摘要: Provides is a method for processing a multicast packet received in a system for simultaneously providing virtual interface-based layer-2 multicast switching and layer-3 multicast routing. When a destination MAC address of a received Ethernet frame is a multicast MAC address, a VLAN-based layer-2 multicast switching function is performed. When a destination IP address of a received Ethernet frame is a multicast IP address, a virtual interface-based layer-3 multicast routing function is simultaneously performed within the same system.

摘要: A stack type reactor that can adjust a length of channel (reaction time) to react raw substances with each other for a sufficient time and mix completely raw substances to maximize the reaction efficiency. The stack type reactor comprises an upper block with at least two inlets that introduce different kinds of raw substances and a lower channel fluidly connected to the inlets and formed at a lower surface thereof; a unit block including an upper channel corresponding to the lower channel of the upper block and formed on an upper surface thereof, the unit block including a lower channel formed at a lower surface thereof and fluidly connected with the upper channel via a connecting flow passage. The upper block and unit block form a flow path for the raw substances by connecting to the lower channel of the upper block to the upper channel of the unit block.
