摘要： An apparatus includes a blade grinding machine, a measuring system and a control for providing a bar blade suitable for cutting work pieces. The blade grinding machine includes a clamping mechanism for mounting the bar blade and a grinding wheel for grinding the mounted bar blade. The measuring system also includes a clamping mechanism for mounting bar blade and at least one probe for three-dimensional sampling of the bar blade mounted on the measuring system. The control enables a data exchange between the blade grinding machine and the measuring system in order to grind and sample the bar blade in an alternating fashion. The apparatus is a closed system in which data exchange is automated.
