    摘要: A control circuit for the turn-signal flasher system of an automotive vehicle. The flasher system includes a relay having switch contacts which are serially connected, together with a direction indicator switch, between the vehicle battery and the turn-signal lamps. A measuring or sampling resistor is connected between the battery and the relay contacts. First and second pulse generators are connected between a first voltage indicator and the relay coil, and are selectively gated to interrupt the relay during normal lamp load conditions. The first pulse generator provides a normal mark-to-space ratio whereas the second pulse generator provides a reduced mark-to-space ratio for use during night driving conditions. Third and fourth pulse generators are responsive to corresponding voltage indicators connected to the measuring resistor. The third and fourth generators function to respectively provide different mark-to-space ratios in response to, and indicative of, lamp outage or current-overload conditions.

    摘要: A windshield wiper assembly comprising two windshield wipers each driven by a separate motor is described in which a control provides switching signals for switching on and off the wiper motors so as to achieve relatively smooth running of the wipers. In particular wiping areas one motor is continuously switched on and only the other motor, in dependence on the difference of the angular positions of the two wipers, is controlled such that collision of the wipers is prevented when the wiping areas overlap.

    摘要: A windshield wiper system having an electric motor for driving windshield wipers through repeating wiper cycles by reversing the direction of rotation of the motor through a reversing switch comprising a pair of relays which control the polarity of current applied to the motor. A limit switch is mechanically coupled to the motor for detecting the end positions of the motor and for providing signals indicative thereof. First and second time delay circuits each have an output respectively coupled to one of the relays, and each delay circuit has a pair of inputs coupled to the limit switch. Each delay circuit is activated to provide a delayed output to its relay by a respective end position signal which immediately deactivates the other delay circuit.

    摘要: A display system comprising at least one display element, for example in the form of a pivoted pointer for indication of a changing measured value in association with a scale. The display element is implemented by an electro-optical cell filled with a liquid, the cell having two transparent plates separated by a distance frame with an associated illuminating device at the back side. Portions of one of the transparent plates is rendered opaque, the remaining areas on that plate providing transparent windows. Transparent areas are also provided between the plates. One of said transparent areas has a contour corresponding with the contour of the scale. The other of said areas extends over a larger surface.
