Abstract: A mobile network data analytics function node is described. The network data analytics function node obtains from a network function service consumer, a request for analytics of at least one load parameter for at least one network function service provider and obtains a load data from at least one network function service provider. The network data analytics function node performs filtering of the load data from the network function service provider to filter out load data responsive to said at least one load parameter, to determine the requested analytics of said at least one load parameter based on the filtered load data from the network function service provider, and provides, to the network function service consumer, the determined analytics of at least one load parameter for said at least one network function provider. The reporting message overhead and resource exhaustion can be reduced.

Abstract: A network function configured for operation in a mobile telecommunications network is provided. The network function is configured to obtain from a User Equipment (UE), a Protocol Data Unit, PDU, session request for establishment of a redundant PDU session and to determine said redundant PDU session to be established based on at least one network condition. The network function is configured to provide the UE the outcome of the determination if said redundant PDU session is to be established. Hereby a network function that can consider Network conditions to determine (initiate/reject) the redundant user plane feature for the URLLC services can be provided. By allowing the network to determine establishment of redundant user plane resource exhaustion can be avoided in that the UE is no longer controlling the establishment of a redundant user plane.

Abstract: Described herein is a network node comprising a processor that executes instructions to receive a location service request for a user equipment (UE); transmit a reachability request for the UE to an access and mobility management function (AMF); receive a reachability response comprising reachability information of the UE from the AMF; determine whether to perform positioning procedures related to the location service request locally or to perform positioning procedures related to the location service request remotely based, in part, on the reachability information; based on a determination to perform the positioning procedures remotely, determine a distributed location management function (LMFd) to process the location service request based, at least in part, on the reachability information; transmit the location service request to the LMFd; receive a location service result from the LMFd; and transmit, responsive to the location service request, a UE position estimate determined based on the location service result.

The first CNd is further configured to preliminarily select a serving CNd for the UNd, based on the received uplink beacon measurement report concerning the UNd; confirm the preliminarily selected serving CNd by communication with the second CNd; and, select serving CNd for the UNd when the preliminarily selected serving CNd is confirmed by the second CNd.
