Abstract: A network node and method performed thereby, for enabling determination, by a prediction function network node, of a change in QoS of a communication session of a UE. The method includes obtaining information related to the UE communication session, the information including an ID of the UE and an ID of the communication session. The method further comprises determining the target serving cell of the UE and providing the obtained information and an ID of the determined target serving cell to the prediction function network node, thereby enabling the prediction function network node to determine new QoS of the UE communication session when being served by the target serving cell. A prediction function network node and a method performed thereby, and a user equipment and a method performed thereby are also disclosed.

Abstract: The invention relates to network nodes for handling non-fulfilment of QoS requirements in wireless communication systems. A first network node obtains QoS requirements associated with a PDU session of a client device application. When the QoS requirements will not be met in a core network, the first network node transmits a first QoS notification to a second network node, wherein the first QoS notification indicates that the one or more QoS requirements will not be met in the core network. When the QoS requirements will not be met in a radio access network, the first network node transmits a second QoS notification to a master node, wherein the second QoS notification indicates that the one or more QoS requirements will not be met in the radio access network. Furthermore, the invention also relates to corresponding methods and computer program.

Abstract: A first radio network node for assisting application adjustment is configured to receive a potential quality of service change notification (PQCN) from a second radio network; associate the PQCN with an in-advance quality of service prediction notification (IQN) recipient based on a mapping between a request for an IQN from an IQN recipient and an existing PQCN subscription, wherein the mapping is established based on a location, a required quality of service (QoS) and at least one of: configuration information associated with the IQN recipient or subscription information associated with the IQN recipient; and send an IQN to the IQN recipient for assisting the application adjustment.
