Abstract: An X-centric network architecture and associated methods are provided. The network architecture provides comprehensive control and processing functions that support heterogenous XaaS services. For different XaaS services, the network architecture supports the activation/selection of different functions/interfaces. The network architecture has a control/management (C/M) plane that includes a mission manager (MM) that manages a mission comprising tasks associated with heterogenous services. The network architecture also has a mission data plane (MDP) coupled to the C/M plane. The MDP plane includes processing functions (PFs) required for the tasks and also includes data plane functions (DPFs) that are configured to interface a PF of a XaaS service to a PF of a different XaaS service. The network architecture also has one or multiple XaaS module(s) which may be provided by third parties as plug-in module(s). Each XaaS module is associated with a XaaS service, one of multiple XaaS service controller(s) (XC), and one or multiple PF(s)/DPF(s) conducting corresponding tasks. Detail procedures, interfaces, and signals for mission execution and device accessing a mission (mission access) are described in the associated methods.

Abstract: A method of privacy protection includes receiving from a service customer, a service request requesting for a service of privacy protection. A generative model is used to generate synthetic data based on the service request and the synthetic data is provided to a discriminator. The discriminator performs a comparison between data from the service customer and the received synthetic data, and providing a result of the comparison to the generator, where privacy of the service customer is included in or inferred from the data from the service customer. Based on the result of the comparison from the discriminator, the generator updates the generative model until the generated synthetic data meets a preconfigured requirement. Each time the generative model is updated, newly updated synthetic data is provide to the discriminator. Once the preconfigured requirement is met, the latest synthetic data or the latest generative model is provided to a data consumer.

Abstract: A handover method includes receiving a handover requirement message from a source access network device, and sending a handover request message to the target access network device. The handover requirement message includes an identifier of a session of a terminal device. The session is to be handed over from the source access network device to a target access network device. The handover request message includes first single network slice selection assistance information (S-NSSAI). A first network slice of the target access network device that corresponds to the first S-NSSAI serves the session. The first S-NSSAI is determined based on second S-NSSAI and the first network slice supported by the target access network device, and the second S-NSSAI is of a second network slice of the source access network device and that corresponds to the identifier of the session.

Abstract: Embodiments of this application provide example communication methods and example devices. One example method includes sending, by a first access network device, a system information block to a terminal device, where the system information block includes first information indicating that a cell served by the first access network device supports non-public network (NPN) onboarding, where the first information includes second information indicating a supported onboarding NPN, and the second information includes at least one of information about an identifier of the supported onboarding NPN or first indication information, where the first indication information indicates a support of onboarding. The first access network device can then receive a radio resource control (RRC) setup complete message from the terminal device, where the RRC setup complete message indicates that the terminal device requests NPN onboarding.

Abstract: Embodiments of this application disclose a paging collision processing method and a related apparatus. The method includes: When a terminal device detects that a paging occasion of the terminal device in a first camped cell collides with a paging occasion of the terminal device in a second camped cell, the terminal device may determine a first paging parameter, and may send first information including the first paging parameter to a first network device corresponding to the first camped cell. The first network device sends second information including a second paging parameter to the terminal device. The terminal device determines a second paging occasion of a first identity module card of the terminal device in the first camped cell based on the second paging parameter in the received second information. The terminal device monitors a paging message in the first camped cell on the second paging occasion. The second paging occasion does not overlap a third paging occasion of a second identity module card of the terminal device in the second camped cell in terms of time. According to embodiments of this application, a paging collision that occurs when the terminal device monitors the paging message can be avoided.
