Abstract:
A link protection method in a software-defined networking (SDN), a corresponding switching device and network controller, where the method includes receiving, by a first switching device in the SDN, first information from a network controller in the SDN and link protection information, where the first information establishes a communication link between the first switching device and a destination device, and the link protection information instructs the first switching device to proactively perform primary-to-secondary link switching when a link is faulty, establishing, by the first switching device, the communication link with the destination device according to the first information, and determining, by the first switching device according to the link protection information, that the first switching device proactively performs the primary-to-secondary link switching.
Abstract:
A security authentication method includes: receiving, by a control plane of a BFD device, a first BFD packet that is sent by a control plane of a peer BFD device; generating, by the control plane, a first token value according to the random nonce; sending the first token value to a data plane; receiving, by the data plane, a second BFD packet that is sent by a data plane of the peer BFD device, where the second BFD packet carries authentication information, and the authentication information includes a random nonce; and generating, by the data plane, a second token value according to the random nonce included in the authentication information and by using a calculation method the same as that of the control plane, and successfully authenticating, by the data plane, the second BFD packet if the first token value and the second token value are the same.
Abstract:
A method, an apparatus, and a system for controlling sending of a MAC address forwarding table are provided. In the solution, when it is determined that a destination IP address is different from any IP address of a gateway to which a source virtual machine is attached, generation, according to an ARP request packet, a first MAC address forwarding table that is to be sent to the gateway is forbidden; and when it is determined that IP addresses of the gateway to which the source virtual machine is attached include an IP address that is the same as the destination IP address, a first MAC address forwarding table that is to be sent to the gateway is generated according to the ARP request packet, and the first MAC address forwarding table is sent to the gateway.
Abstract:
A method, an apparatus, a system locate an IPTV fault, where the method includes: performing synchronized evaluation on a monitored IPTV video stream according to a synchronization message, obtaining multiple corresponding local upstream evaluation results; receiving an evaluation result report message sent by a downstream monitoring point, where the evaluation result report message includes a downstream evaluation result, an evaluation result identifier, and synchronization packet information; finding, according to the synchronization packet information and the evaluation result identifier in the evaluation result report message sent by the downstream monitoring point, an upstream evaluation result corresponding to the downstream evaluation result; comparing the downstream evaluation result with the upstream evaluation result, and performing fault locating according to a result of the comparison. The present disclosure implements IPTV fault locating, saves costs of manpower and material resources, and improves efficiency in fault locating.
Abstract:
A method for processing a forwarding device fault, a device, and a controller are provided, and relate to the communications field. The method is as follows. An SNC receives a notification message sent by a first forwarding device, where the notification message includes a fault parameter of the first forwarding device, and the fault parameter includes a device identifier of the first forwarding device, a port identifier of a degraded port, and a degradation value of the port identified by the port identifier. The SNC determines, according to the device identifier and the port identifier, at least one forwarding path that passes through the port identified by the port identifier. The SNC also determines, according to the fault parameter of the first forwarding device and the fault parameters of other forwarding devices on one forwarding path, whether to update the forwarding path.
Abstract:
The present disclosure provides a method and system for downloading real-time streaming media in a peer-to-peer (P2P) network, belonging to the field of communications. The system of the present disclosure includes a request node and a server, wherein the request node transmits a query request to a catalog server, and the query request includes: real-time streaming media requested to be downloaded and layers of the real-time streaming media requested to be downloaded, the request node receives a list of nodes capable of providing the real-time streaming media of the layers and determined by the catalog server, determines downloading nodes from the list of nodes, and downloads the real-time streaming media of the layers from the downloading nodes.

Abstract:
Embodiments of the present invention disclose a method and an apparatus for detecting connectivity. An SDN device transmits a session negotiation packet to a second network element, where the session negotiation packet is used to negotiate a link between a first network element and the second network element, and the first network element is located in an SDN network; the SDN device obtains a response message returned by the second network element to determine that the link is negotiated successfully; and the SDN device transmits a heartbeat packet to the second network element, where the heartbeat packet is used to detect connectivity of the link. As can be learned, after determining that the link between the second network element and the first network element located in the SDN network is negotiated successfully, the SDN device transmits the heartbeat packet to the second network element.
