Abstract: This application provides an interference tracking method and an apparatus. A first terminal receives second information from a second network device on a first time-frequency resource, measures interference from the second network device based on the second information, and feeds back first interference information obtained through measurement to a first network device. Because the second information is sent by the second network device (that is, an interference source), the method enables the first terminal to measure interference in a timely manner based on an interference change of the interference source, accurately track an interference change caused by the second network device, and report more accurate interference information to the first network device.

According to embodiments of this application, time domain overheads for sending the synchronization signal and/or the system information by the network device can be reduced, and sending power consumption of the network device can be reduced, to facilitate energy saving of the network device.
