    Abstract: This disclosure provides a configuration method and apparatus. The method may include: receiving a first cycle from a core network element and a second cycle from a terminal, where the first cycle is an initial service cycle or a first traffic shaping service cycle, and the second cycle is a service cycle expected by the terminal; configuring a discontinuous reception DRX cycle for the terminal based on the first cycle and the second cycle; and obtaining first information, and sending sleep indication information to the terminal based on the first information. In this application, an access network device obtains cycle information of a service and the first information, to configure the DRX cycle that can match the service and the sleep indication information that can enable the terminal to enter a sleep state in time.

    Abstract: This application provides example uplink transmission methods and communication apparatuses. One example method includes sending first scheduling information by a network device to a first terminal and a second terminal, where the first scheduling information includes indication information of a sidelink transmission parameter and indication information of a first uplink transmission parameter, the sidelink transmission parameter is used by the first terminal to send first data to the second terminal, and the first uplink transmission parameter is used by the second terminal to send the first data to the network device. The first data is received by the network device from the second terminal.

First configuration information is sent to a first user group, where the first configuration information indicates at least one resource element, the first user group includes a first terminal apparatus and a second terminal apparatus, and the first terminal apparatus is configured to assist in information transmission between a first network apparatus and the second terminal apparatus. The first network apparatus sends first downlink control information to the first user group, where the first downlink control information indicates a first resource element in the at least one resource element and a first time-frequency resource, and the first time-frequency resource belongs to the first resource element.

    Abstract: This application discloses a multi-hop transmission method and an apparatus, which are applicable to fields such as V2X, internet of vehicles, intelligent connected vehicles, assisted driving, and intelligent driving, to resolve a problem that a multi-hop transmission latency is large in a conventional technology. In example embodiments, terminal devices participating in multi-hop transmission may share a shared resource pool. A first terminal device and a second terminal device participating in the multi-hop transmission are used as an example. The multi-hop transmission method includes: sending, by the first terminal device, data to the second terminal device on a first resource in the shared resource pool; and if the first terminal device fails to send the data on the first resource, retransmitting, by the first terminal device, the data to the second terminal device on a second resource in the shared resource pool.
