Abstract: This application discloses a multi-hop transmission method and an apparatus, which are applicable to fields such as V2X, internet of vehicles, intelligent connected vehicles, assisted driving, and intelligent driving, to resolve a problem that a multi-hop transmission latency is large in a conventional technology. In example embodiments, terminal devices participating in multi-hop transmission may share a shared resource pool. A first terminal device and a second terminal device participating in the multi-hop transmission are used as an example. The multi-hop transmission method includes: sending, by the first terminal device, data to the second terminal device on a first resource in the shared resource pool; and if the first terminal device fails to send the data on the first resource, retransmitting, by the first terminal device, the data to the second terminal device on a second resource in the shared resource pool.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present application pertain to control information for scheduling a transmission resource for downlink and uplink communications between one or more TRP and one or more UE. One Physical Downlink Control Channel (PDCCH) for DL control information transmission is assumed to carry at least one assignment or scheduling information block for at least one Physical Downlink Shared Channel (PDSCH) for DL data transmission or for at least one Physical Uplink Shared Channel (PUSCH) for UL data transmission. Embodiments of the present application provide methods of providing configuration information that can be used by a user equipment (UE) to determine transmission mode for the PDSCH and PUSCH as well as information to determine where to monitor for the PDSCH, PUSCH and PUCCH information.

Abstract: A user equipment (UE) may determine that a transmission resource includes a first orthogonal frequency-division multiplexing (OFDM) symbol that is configured as a downlink symbol or as flexible, where the transmission resource is allocated for uplink (UL) transmissions during a time duration, and includes K transmission occasions (TOs). The UE may transmit a first UL transmission in the transmission resource omitting the first OFDM symbol. The first UL transmission includes K repetitions to be transmitted in the respective K TOs, and the K repetitions includes an initial transmission and at least one retransmission of the initial transmission.

Some formats feature half-slot switching meaning that a switch from uplink to downlink transmission takes place twice within a slot. Switching on a more frequent basis can deliver improved latency.
