    Abstract: The present invention provides a service routing system, device, and method. In embodiments of the present invention, a first service flow classifier generates a notification message that includes service flow category information, a service path controller generates, according to the notification message, a first forwarding entry corresponding to each of i programmable switches that are connected to k service enablers, and the i programmable switches each forward a data packet of a service flow according to the corresponding first forwarding entries, so that the k service enablers process the data packet of the service flow according to a sequence. In this way, network reliability can be improved.

    Abstract: A communication method comprises that if a policy control device does not support setup of an Internet Protocol (IP) multimedia subsystem (IMS) default bearer during setup of an IMS default bearer for a terminal, the control plane gateway sends second indication information to a user plane gateway, where the second indication information indicates the control plane gateway bypasses the policy control device. When the user plane gateway receives an IMS session request from the terminal and determines that the control plane gateway bypasses the policy control device, the user plane gateway sends first indication information to the control plane gateway, and the first indication information indicates the control plane gateway to send, to the policy control device, a first request to request to establish a mapping relationship between the terminal and the control plane gateway such that an IMS session can be set up between terminals.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to a data packet processing apparatus located in a value-added-service (VAS) network. A transceiver module of the data packet processing apparatus receives a first data packet; a processing module determines, according to a load status of each VAS instance corresponding to each VAS type in a service chain that the first data packet is to go through, a service path that the first data packet is to go through the transceiver module sends the first data packet carrying a service path identifier to a data packet routing apparatus in the network, to instruct the data packet routing apparatus to route the first data packet according to the service path identified by the service path identifier.
