Abstract: A vehicle-mounted device in a vehicle receives transaction voucher information from a roadside unit after the vehicle pays a toll of a road, where the transaction voucher information indicates that the vehicle pays the toll; the vehicle-mounted device sends a pass request message when the vehicle does not pass through a gate of the road and a distance between the vehicle and the gate is less than a first threshold, where the pass request message includes the transaction voucher information; and the vehicle-mounted device stops sending the pass request message after the vehicle passes through the gate.
