    摘要: A charging device is provided for communicating with one or more consumer devices for remotely charging at least one of them upon demand of the consumer. The charging device comprises a transmitter unit associated with an antenna unit comprising a power antenna for defining at least one charging zone for transmitting charging power toward it; a receiver for receiving signals from consumers located within the charging zone; and a controller unit configured to be responsive to a request signal from a consumer indicative of demand for charging, to initiate a charging process of the consumer by radiation from the power antenna toward the consumer to supply power required for operating a functional unit of the consumer. The power antenna may comprise an array of directional antenna elements, each defining the charging zone within a different angular segment of entire charging space defined by a radiation pattern of the antenna array.

    摘要: This invention is directed to antenna for wireless charging systems configured and operable to create strong electromagnetic near fields in a designated volume and by that to improve the coupling between a transmitting antenna and a receiving antenna of a wireless charging system, which improves the efficiency level of the electromagnetic energy transfer between said transmitting and receiving antennas of a wireless charging system, the antenna comprising a conductive material shaped to form two or more revolutions, each revolution adjacent to the previous revolution, wherein each of said revolution having a geometric shape. The antenna is further comprising a ground plane, wherein said formed conductive material is adapted to confine the electromagnetic near field distribution into a charging zone relative to the ground plane.

    摘要: The invention is directed to a novel probes arrangement configured to be attached to a receiving unit of a device under charge positioned onto or within a conductive charging structure having a transmitting unit for transmitting RF energy, wherein said probes arrangement comprises at least two probes configured to create a closed electromagnetic field lines between them so as to allow improved coupling between said transmitting unit and said receiving unit regardless of the position and/or the orientation of the device under charge relative to the conductive charging structure. The improved coupling between the receiving unit attached to the probes arrangement and the transmitting unit of the conductive charging structure allows a high RF transfer efficiency between said units.

    摘要: A system is presented for harvesting electromagnetic energy propagating in surroundings. The system comprises an antenna unit, a harvesting unit, and an input signal adapting circuit. The antenna unit is configured for receiving external electromagnetic radiation from the surroundings and producing a corresponding electric output. The harvesting unit comprises at least one energy harvesting circuit each configured and operable for receiving signals indicative of the output of the antenna unit and generating and storing corresponding electric charge, the harvesting circuit comprising: a rectifying unit comprising a plurality of rectifiers each configured and operable to receive AC electric signals and generate corresponding DC electric power; and a charge collection unit configured and operable to receive the plurality of DC electric powers from said rectifying unit and converting and accumulating them into the electric charge presenting harvested energy. The input signal adapting circuit has an input connected to the antenna unit and an output connected to the rectifying unit, the input signal adapting circuit being configured and operable for adjusting a predetermined electrical property of the antenna unit and rectifying unit to thereby optimize receipt of the electric output of the antenna unit to the harvesting circuit.
