    摘要: A vacuum cleaner and an intake port unit thereof are disclosed, by which a steam cleaning can be conducted together with a vacuum cleaning. The intake port unit includes a housing. A vacuum intake passage is provided within the housing for passage of air sucked in from the exterior of the housing, and a steam generator is provided within the housing to generate steam. A steam discharge passage is provided within the housing for passage of steam discharged to the exterior of the housing. The steam discharge passage is partitioned from the vacuum intake passage.

    摘要: A water heating apparatus using electrodes is provided. The water heating apparatus includes a heating tank in which electrolyte solution is stored and a plurality pairs of heating electrodes composed of positive electrodes and negative electrodes arranged in the heating tank at uniform intervals. Since the plurality of pairs of electrodes are arranged in the heating tank at uniform intervals, the heating operation can be always performed in a state where the electrolyte solution of no less than the minimum water level is stored regardless of the direction of the heating tank so that it is possible to heat water or to generate steam. Therefore, the water heating apparatus can be easily applied to a product that is inclined or upset and that is not in a specific direction.

    摘要: Disclosed is a temperature control method for a refrigerator which can minimize a deviation in refrigerant compartment temperature while minimizing the power consumption of the refrigerator. The temperature control method includes the steps of (A) comparing a sensed temperature of a freezing compartment with a predetermined maximum freezing compartment temperature and a predetermined minimum freezing compartment temperature, respectively, thereby controlling a compressor and a circulating fan to be turned on or off such that the sensed freezing compartment temperature is ranged between the predetermined maximum and minimum freezing temperatures, (B) comparing, following the step (A), a sensed temperature of a refrigerating compartment defined with a plurality of refrigerating chambers therein, with a predetermined maximum refrigerating compartment temperature and a predetermined minimum refrigerating compartment temperature, respectively, thereby controlling a damper to be opened or closed and the circulating fan to be turned on or off such that the sensed refrigerating compartment temperature is ranged between the predetermined maximum and minimum refrigerating temperatures, and (C) discharging cold air into at least one of the refrigerating chambers when the damper is closed, and the compressor and the circulating fan are turned on.

    摘要: The invention relates to a cool air controlling apparatus for concentrically cooling a region in a refrigerator where a new load is stored. The apparatus comprises: the first cool air duct provided along a compartment wall of a refrigerator with a certain length for allowing the cool air introduced from a blowing chamber to flow therethrough; the second cool air duct having a variable length provided downward from a front end of the first cool air duct; length adjusting means connected to the second cool air duct for adjusting the length of the second cool air duct; and rotation adjusting means attached to a lower end of the second cool air duct for carrying out rotation and injecting the cool air. The entire temperature distribution is uniformly maintained in a refrigerating chamber thereby greatly reducing power consumption.

    摘要: Disclosed herein is a refrigerator that is capable of rapidly handling a load in a freezing chamber of the refrigerator or a refrigerating chamber of the refrigerator, and preventing stored goods in a rapid cooling chamber from being excessively cooled. The present invention also provides a method of controlling such a refrigerator. The refrigerator comprises a rapid cooling chamber mounted in at least one of the freezing and refrigerating chambers, a rapid cooling channel having one end communicating with an entering channel of the refrigerating chamber and the other end communicating with the rapid cooling channel, and a damper for controlling the flow of cool air passing through the entering channel of the refrigerating chamber and the rapid cooling channel. The damper is controlled on the basis of the load in the freezing or refrigerating chamber and a load in the rapid cooling chamber.
