摘要: Disclosed is a clock recovery method and apparatus for CBR traffic in the packet switching network so as to recover the clock of the CBR traffic upon transmission by inserting a small amount of random packets to the CBR traffic stream which has arrived in a receiver. According to the present inventive concept, the CBR streams are added with the random traffic streams in the packet switching network, so that the clock of the CBR streams upon transmission can be recovered, and jitter and wander according to clock recovery can be reduced.

摘要: Provided are a time synchronizing method and apparatus based on a time stamp. The time synchronizing method includes: transmitting a local time stamp based on a free-running local clock to a master node; receiving a response time stamp from the master node; calculating a delta time value based on the response time stamp; filtering the delta-time using a digital low pass filter running at the free-running local clock rate; and adjusting a local clock time based on the filtered delta time value.

摘要: A method of and an apparatus for transmitting a universal plug and play audio/video (UPnP-AV) stream is disclosed, which transmits a media stream from a media server to an media renderer, using an integrated protocol which combines an universal plug and play (UPNP) audio/video (AV) protocol and a residential Ethernet (ResE) subscription protocol. According to the method, an integrated protocol combining an UPnP-AV protocol and an Ethernet protocol can be used. Additionally, a secured quality of service (QoS) can be provided for the UPnP-AV stream.

摘要: Provided are a guaranteed isochronous services method and apparatus in bridged LAN. Isochronous streams are transmitted through bridges to a plurality of listener stations in a distributed network, and each bridge performs filtering, stream group registration and authentication for the isochronous streams. Accordingly, quality of service (QoS) in a distributed network can be improved. Furthermore, isochronous streams to the plurality of listener stations can be guaranteed.

摘要: A device for a vehicle that includes an at least partially transparent member operatively connected to the vehicle, the at least partially transparent member having a first side and a second side. A projector emits electromagnetic radiation projecting an image on or in the at least partially transparent member. A first polarizer is positioned on the first side of the transparent member such that the electromagnetic radiation goes through the first polarizer. A second polarizer is positioned on the second side of the at least partially transparent member. The first polarizer and the second polarizer are oriented such that the image is visible from the first side of the at least partially transparent member and not visible from the second side of the at least partially transparent member. The second polarizer may have a second polarization axis that is substantially orthogonal to a first polarization axis of the first polarizer.

摘要: An optical channel assigning system in an optical network including a source node, a destination node, and a network controller for controlling transmission of data through a plurality of optical channels that connect the source node and the destination node to each other and a method of assigning data to the optical channels. The network controller assigns the data to the optical channels in the order in which the transmission information of the data is received from at least one user before a predetermined time from the transmission starting time of the data and, when a region capable of being assigned following data is not secured in the optical channels, at least one of dividing the following data into regions to assign to the plurality of optical channels and of tuning the optical channels again to re-assign the data items to the optical channels is performed. When the data is assigned to the optical channels, users can make reservations for use of the optical channels and blocking probability is reduced.
