摘要: The present disclosure relates to a technology of estimating rack force using force that is transmitted from a steering motor of a Steer-By-Wire (SBW) system to a rack bar. The present disclosure provides a method for estimating rack force of an SBW system, the method calculating restoring force that is applied to a reducer on the basis of the difference between position values of the rack bar that are obtained at the front end and the rear end of the reducer when the position of the rack bar is changed by operation of a steering motor; and calculating rack force by reflecting the restoring force to a motion equation including inertia force of the SBW system.

摘要: A steering apparatus for a steer-by-were system includes a driving member rotating in conjunction with a steering wheel and having a first stopper protruding from the driving member; a change gear receiving rotational force from the driving member, changing a rotational speed, and outputting a changed rotational speed; and a driven member receiving the rotational force output from the change gear, rotating at a rotational speed different from that of the driving member, and having a second stopper, which protrudes from the driven member, disposed within a rotation radius of the first stopper. The second stopper comes into contact with the first stopper at a predetermined steering angle during rotation of the driving member.

摘要: A steering system for a vehicle may include first and second steering motors providing torque; a rack bar to which torques of the first and second steering motor are simultaneously applied, and configured to change steering angles of wheels by being displaced by the rotation of the first and second steering motors; first and second motor position detectors detecting rotation angles of the first and second steering motors, respectively; and a controller deriving an absolute position of the rack bar based on a difference between the rotation angles of the first and second steering motors detected by the first and second motor position detectors, wherein an amount of displacement of the rack bar according to an amount of rotation of the first steering motor is different from an amount of displacement of the rack bar according to an amount of rotation of the second steering motor.

摘要: A steering-angle-limiting device of a steer-by-wire system selectively restricts turning of a steering wheel in a forward direction or in a reverse direction and permits turning of the steering wheel in order to inhibit locking of the steering wheel when the steering-angle-limiting device operates abnormally. Rotation of a stopping gear, which is coupled to a steering shaft, is selectively restricted depending on a change in a rotation angle of a cam, whereby the direction in which the steering wheel turns is selectively limited. In addition, when a stopper operates abnormally, the stopper is moved to a position apart from an end of the radius of rotation of the stopping gear, thereby enabling turning of the steering wheel.
