摘要: A mixer circuit with improving characteristic of image rejection by compensating mismatch in a spurious rejection mixer circuit (SRM) used in a transmitter is provided. The mixer circuit according to the present invention comprises an up conversion unit for modulating a base-band input signal to a RF signal, a down conversion unit for converting an output signal from the up conversion unit to a base-band output signal, mismatch estimating means for determining a mismatch compensation value by which spurious component in an output signal from the down conversion unit is minimized, wherein the spurious component results from mismatch in the up conversion unit, and mismatch compensating means for compensating the mismatch in the up conversion unit by using the mismatch compensation value determined by the mismatch estimating means.

摘要: An image rejection mixer (IRM) for rejecting signals having image frequency and, more particularly, a mixer for rejecting signals of image frequency by using mismatch compensation is provided. The image rejection mixer comprises: first and second mixers; first and second converting means, each of which transforms each output of the first and second mixers to digital signal; third and fourth mixers, each of which mixes output of the first converting means with each of second local oscillation in-phase signal and quadrature-phase signal, respectively; fifth and sixth mixers, each of which mixes output of the second converting means with each of second local oscillation in-phase signal and quadrature-phase signal, respectively; means for subtracting; means for adding; and means for compensating gain-mismatch between the first and second mixers.

摘要: A method for treating a skin lesion can include lowering a temperature of a treatment site to a temperature range sufficient to induce vasoconstriction in a dermis of the treatment site and administering a laser light through a medium to the skin lesion while maintaining the temperature of the treatment site within the temperature range. The medium can include a first portion and a second portion, where the laser light is transmitted through the first portion and the second portion sequentially, the second portion includes a contact surface for contacting the treatment site, and the second portion has a higher thermal conductivity than the first portion. The method can further include identifying the skin lesion and analyzing one or more characteristics of the skin lesion.

摘要: A method for controlling a water supply amount and a refrigerator using the same are disclosed. The method includes receiving information regarding a water supply amount selected by a user, counting a duration after starting water supply, and checking whether an error in a water supply amount measurement unit exists. When the water supply amount measurement unit is normal, an actual water supply amount is determined based on a signal from the water supply amount measurement unit, and, when a fault exists, a water supply amount is determined based on correlation between a stored water supply amount for normal operation and a water supply duration. Water supply is stopped when the selected water supply amount and the determined water supply amount are equal. When the water supply amount measurement unit is normal, the signal from the water supply amount measurement unit and information regarding a water supply duration are stored.
