Abstract: The invention relates to a process for the catalytic treatment of a hydrocarbon feedstock with continuous catalytic regeneration, in which process said feedstock is successively circulated in a plurality of reaction zones in series (R1, R2, R3, R4), the catalyst circulating as a moving bed successively in the plurality of reaction zones and flowing from the upstream end to the downstream end of each of the reaction zones and being transported by a carrier gas phase g1 from the downstream end of one reaction zone to the upstream end of the next reaction zone, characterized in that said carrier gas phase g1 has a density of greater than or equal to 1 kg/m3.

Abstract: Process for fixed-bed reforming of a hydrocarbon-based feedstock comprising n-paraffinic, naphthenic and aromatic hydrocarbons, at a temperature of between 400 and 700° C., a pressure of between 0.1 and 4 MPa, and a mass flow of feedstock treated per unit mass of catalyst and per hour of between 0.1 and 10 h−1, by bringing said feedstock into contact with a catalyst comprising platinum, a promoter metal selected from the group consisting of rhenium and iridium, a halogen selected from the group consisting of fluorine, chlorine, bromine and iodine, and a porous alumina support in the form of an extrudate characterized by a length “l” of between 1 and 10 mm, a section comprising four lobes, the largest diameter “D” of the cross section of said extrudate being between 1 and 3 mm.

Abstract: Method for the simulated moving bed separation of a feedstock (F), in which when a fluid/effluent (feedstock F, desorbent D, extract E, raffinate R) is injected/withdrawn into/from a chosen plate (Pi) using an external bypass line (Li−1/i, Li+1/i) connected to said chosen plate (Pi), the flow rate within the said external bypass line (Li−1/i, Li+1/i) is controlled in such a way that: a major proportion of the fluid/effluent (F, D, E, R) is injected/withdrawn into/from the chosen plate (Pi); and a minor proportion of the fluid/effluent (F, D, E, R) is injected/withdrawn into/from the adjacent plate (Pi−1, Pi+1) connected to the said external bypass line (Li−1/i, Li+1/i).
