    Abstract: A reconfiguration intelligent surface device and a beamforming method thereof, the beamforming method adapted to the reconfiguration intelligent surface device is described below. A timing synchronization signal is received. A frame boundary synchronized with a radio signal transmission/reflection device is established according to the timing synchronization signal. Beam control information is received. A reflected beam is formed by reflecting a radio signal beam transmitted or reflected by the radio signal transmission/reflection device according to the beam control information based on the frame boundary synchronized with the radio signal transmission/reflection device.

    Abstract: A communication system and an operating method thereof are provided. The communication system includes at least one user equipment, at least one remote radio head (RRH), a measuring unit, a set determining unit and an antenna selecting unit. The RRH is electrically connected to a plurality of antennas. The measuring unit is for controlling a measurement of a signal strength of the at least one user equipment. The set determining unit is used for selecting one of a plurality of antenna configuration sets according to the signal strength for the at least one user equipment. Each of the antenna configuration sets includes a plurality of antenna configurations. Each of the antenna configurations is composed of P of a plurality of antennas. The antenna selecting unit is used for allocating one of the antenna configurations from the antenna configuration set which is selected for the at least one user equipment.

    Abstract: A base station includes a processing unit, a plurality of radio frequency units, a plurality of antenna units, a control unit and an adjustment unit. The processing unit generates a baseband signal and provides a control strategy. The radio frequency units receive the baseband signal to generate a plurality of radio frequency signals. The antenna units transmit a plurality of output signals. The control unit receives the control strategy and generates a plurality of control signals according to the control strategy. The adjustment unit receives the radio frequency signals and the control signals, switches the connection of RF paths with high-gain or low-gain between the radio frequency units and the antenna units and adjusts gains of the radio frequency signals according to the control signals, so as to generate the output signals.
