Abstract: An apparatus and system to enable URLLC PUSCH repetitions in the unlicensed spectrum are described. The number of consecutive PUSCH repetitions indicated in the RRC parameter is reinterpreted as the number of transmission occasions over which the UE is able to attempt CCA. An orphan symbol is used to provide a DMRS transmission or cyclic prefix of the PUSCH transmission causing the orphan symbol. Whether a CG-UCI is piggybacked in a PUSCH transmission, and whether DCI-DFI is used, is dependent on whether cg-RetransmissionTimer is configured.

Abstract: Various embodiments are directed to time-domain resource allocation for transport block over multiple slot (TBoMS) transmissions. An apparatus may comprise: memory to store configuration information that includes a shared time domain resource allocation (TDRA) list associated with transport block over multiple slot (TBoMS) processing; and processing circuitry, coupled with the memory, to: retrieve the configuration information from the memory, wherein the TDRA list includes an entry having an indication of a scheduling delay (k2) and number of slots (N) for a TBoMS transmission; and encode a message for transmission to a user equipment (UE) that includes the configuration information. Abstract: A user equipment (UE) configured for operation in a fifth-generation new radio (NR) system may decode higher-layer signalling comprising configuration information received from a gNodeB (gNB) that configures the UE with search space (SS) sets for multi-slot physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) monitoring. At least some slots of the SS sets may be indicated to have a PDCCH monitoring occasion (MO) and each SS set may be configured in a number (Y) of consecutive slots (MO slots) within slot groups of a slot group size that comprises of a number (X) of consecutive slots. The UE may perform multi-slot PDCCH monitoring by monitoring the MO slots for PDCCH candidates and non-overlapping control channel elements (CCEs). Slot groups may have X consecutive slots (slot group size=X) and there are Y consecutive MO slots within each slot group.

Abstract: Systems and methods for transmission of PDSCH and HARQ-ACK feedback in 5G networks are described. The TDRA of PDSCH repetitions are indicated in a DCI by a SLIV sequence configuration that contains multiple SLIV sequences. Each SLIV sequence for a slot is associated with an independent repetition factor and may also be associated with a partition factor to indicate a partition within the slot. One or more TRPs may be used to transmit each PDSCH repetition. The TCI states are mapped to the PDSCH repetitions in a round-robin fashion using an offset in terms of number of PDSCH repetitions from where TCI state switching starts and a number of consecutive PDSCH repetitions per TCI state. The HARQ-ACK bits in response to the PDSCH from the TRPs are concatenated in order of increasing control resource set higher layer signaling index.

Abstract: A communication device for multi-radio access technology (RAT) communications includes one or more processors and a plurality of transceivers. Each transceiver is configured to operate in at least one RAT of a plurality of RATs. The processors are configured to establish connection with a second communication device using a first transceiver of the plurality of transceivers and a first RAT of the plurality of RATs. A first data stream associated with a communication link connected to the second communication device and a third communication device is receive via a convergence function at the second communication device. The communication link uses a second RAT of the plurality of RATs. A code sequence is applied to a second data stream to generate an encoded second data stream, which is transmitted to the third communication device via a second communication link established based on information received via the first data stream.

Abstract: Embodiments described herein relate to downlink (DL) control channel signaling for an aperiodic channel state information (A-CSI) trigger. In one example, a user equipment (UE) communicates with a network to receive first configuration signaling to identify a first downlink control information (DCI) in a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH). The UE also receives, from the network, the first DCI. The first DCI is appended with cyclic redundancy check (CRC) bits that are scrambled by a common radio network temporary identifier (RNTI) and is to indicate an aperiodic channel state information (A-CSI) trigger. Next, the UE receives, from the network, channel state information (CSI) reference signals in one or more occasions that follow an occasion in which the first DCI is received and generates and transmits a CSI report in a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) based on the CSI reference signals.

Abstract: Embodiments of a User Equipment (UE), generation Node-B (gNB) and methods of communication are generally described herein. A radio frame may be configured for time-division duplexing (TDD) operation, and may comprise: one or more downlink subframes, one or more uplink subframes, and a special subframe that occurs immediately after one of the downlink subframes and immediately before one of the uplink subframes. The UE may receive a narrowband physical downlink shared channel (NPDSCH) sent at least partly in the special subframe. The UE may, if a number of repetitions of the NPDSCH is greater than one, decode the NPDSCH based on a de-puncture operation for the special subframe. The UE may, if the number of repetitions of the NPDSCH is equal to one, decode the NPDSCH based on a rate match operation for the special subframe.

Abstract: Technology for an eNodeB operable to apply scrambling to coded bits transported via a physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) to a user equipment (UE) is disclosed. The eNodeB can generate a code word that comprises coded bits for transmission to the UE. The UE can be a bandwidth-reduced low complexity (BL) UE or a coverage enhancement (CE) UE. The eNodeB can identify, for the BL UE or the CE UE, a scrambling sequence to be applied to the coded bits. The scrambling sequence can be initialized using a defined initialization value (cinit). The eNodeB can apply the scrambling sequence with the defined initialization value to the coded bits to obtain scrambled coded bits. The eNodeB can encode the scrambled coded bits for transmission to the UE via the PDSCH.
