Abstract: A system and method for reducing blockchain transaction delay are disclosed. The system consists of a trusted coin wallet framework that implements a trusted execution environment to initiate currency transactions between two clients. The trusted coin wallet framework includes an API proxy and a trusted shadow wallet. The method used by the trusted coin wallet framework involves interaction between the trusted shadow wallet and a peer trusted wallet owned by the other client, via the API proxy, from within the trusted execution environment. During these operations, the blockchain infrastructure is independently validating the transaction.

An example system includes a visual recognition controller to determine whether an infrared image of the device corresponds to a first utilization state of the device based on a machine-learning model, and generate a report including the first utilization state, and at least one processor to execute one or more actions to adjust operation of the device from the first utilization state to a second utilization state based on the report obtained from the visual recognition controller, the second utilization state corresponding to reduced utilization compared to the first utilization state.

Abstract: Systems and techniques for an adaptive display for preventing motion sickness are described herein. In an example, an adaptive display system is adapted to determine, such as from sensor information, movement of a vehicle. The sensor information may be obtained from sensors installed in the vehicle. The adaptive display system may display, to a passenger of the vehicle, visual content that changes orientation in correspondence to the movement of the vehicle. The adaptive display system may be further adapted to determine a gaze direction of the passenger and display the visual content in the gaze direction of the passenger. The adaptive display system may be further adapted to obtain physiological data about the passenger and determine the passenger is experiencing motion sickness.

Abstract: Embodiments are generally directed to a virtual sensor system. An embodiment of a mobile device includes a transmitter to transmit data and a receiver to receive data; and one or more sensors. Upon receiving a measurement request from a requestor, the measurement request including one or more measurement requirements including at least one type of sensor measurement, the mobile electronic device is to compare the one or more measurement requirements against at least sensor capabilities of the mobile electronic device. Upon determining that there is a match between the sensor capabilities and the one or more measurement requirements, the mobile electronic device is to perform a measurement with at least one of the one or more sensors to produce sensor data, and transmit a response including the sensor data to the requestor.
