    Abstract: Procedures, methods, architectures, apparatuses, systems, devices, and computer program products for managing net-work reselection for a high number of users. A Wireless Transmit/Receive Unit, WTRU, generates a registration request indicating that the WTRU has been temporarily connected to a hosting network and that the WTRU requests re-registration to a home network of the WTRU, sends the registration request intended for the home network, receives from the home network a hosting network-specific congestion-related registration reject message including a hosting network specific back-off time value, waits for time corresponding to the back-off time value has elapsed, and sends a further registration request to the home network. The back-off time value is determined by the home network from a number of WRTUs susceptible to attempt re-registration and a capacity of the home network to handle simultaneous registration requests.

    Abstract: Methods, devices, and systems for personal internet of things (PIN) networking are provided. A wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) is described having circuitry for: sending a PIN policy request indicating a PIN manager capability to a core network (CN); receiving a PIN policy from the CN indicating authorized PIN types; sending a PIN connectivity policy indicating a PIN gateway (GW) capability of the WTRU; receiving PIN connectivity policy information that indicates traffic forwarding parameters, a data network name (DNN), and slice information from the CN; receiving a PIN connectivity establishment request from a PIN element; establishing a connection with the CN based on the DNN and the slice information; and forwarding data between the CN and the PIN element, via the connection, based on the traffic forwarding parameters.

    Abstract: The wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) may comprise a processor and memory. The WTRU may be configured to send a registration request to a hosting network. The registration request may indicate at least one local service. The WTRU may receive a list of equivalent hosting networks for the at least one local service and a common tracking area identity (TAI) list for the list of equivalent hosting networks for the at least one local service. The WTRU may reselect between cells corresponding to equivalent hosting networks from the list of equivalent hosting networks without performing location updates based on the cells being associated with the common tracking area identity list. The WTRU may receive a registration accept message. The registration accept message may comprise the list of equivalent hosting networks for the at least one local service and the common tracking area identity list for the list of equivalent hosting networks for the at least one local service.

    Abstract: Systems, methods, and instrumentalities are disclosed for service provisioning and providing access to a PALS hosting network. In examples, a WTRU may send a first message to a first network node if a configuration failure event is detected, wherein the first network node is associated with a first network, wherein the configuration failure event is associated with a second network, and wherein the first message indicates an update request for a network configuration for a local service.     Abstract: Procedures, methods, architectures, apparatuses, systems, devices, and computer program products for a wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) to determine slice availability in tracking areas (TAs) of a registration area (RA). In a representative example, the WTRU may use determined slice availability to detect changes in slice availability among different TAs. For example, the WTRU may move from a first TA of a RA where access to a first slice is unavailable to a second TA of the RA where access to the first slice is available. The WTRU may receive information during a registration procedure in the first TA that indicates the first slice is available in less than all TAs of the RA. Upon moving to the second TA, the WTRU may (e.g., again) perform a registration procedure in the second TA of the RA in order to access the first slice in the second TA.
