Abstract: A method, system, and/or computer program product for identifying and replacing a deficient component in a product. One or more processors deconstruct a text product review into multiple n-grams, where each of the multiple n-grams is a review of a particular component from components of a product. The processor(s) generate a component numeric rating value (CNRV) for each of the multiple n-grams, where the CNRV is based on an analysis of each of the multiple n-grams. The processor(s) identify a deficient component of the product. The processor(s) identify a cause of the deficiency in the deficient component and identify a replacement component that does not cause the deficiency in the deficient component. The processor(s) direct a manufacturing device that manufactures the product to replace the deficient component with the replacement component.

Abstract: Techniques that facilitate condition detection in a virtual reality system and/or an augmented reality system are provided. In one example, a system includes a virtual reality component and an anomaly detection component. The virtual reality component collects motion data and biometric data from a virtual reality device. The motion data is indicative of motion information associated with one or more accelerometer sensors of the virtual reality device. The biometric data is indicative of biometric information associated with one or more biometric sensors of the virtual reality device. The anomaly detection component integrates the motion data and the biometric data into a machine learning model to generate anomaly detection data for the virtual reality device.

Abstract: One or more processors deconstruct, by utilizing natural language processing (NLP), a text product review into multiple n-grams, where each of the multiple n-grams is a sequence of words from the text product review, and where each of the multiple n-grams is a review of a particular component from the multiple components of the product. The processor(s) generate a component numeric rating value (CNRV) for each of the multiple n-grams using machine learning techniques such as collaborative filtering, and store CNRVs for the multiple components of the product together with identifiers of particular components of the product. The processor(s) receive a request for a particular CNRV for the particular component of the product, retrieve the particular CNRV, and then transmit the particular CNRV to a requesting device of the request in order to adjust an operational feature of the requesting device.

Abstract: A method for authenticating a user is presented. Responsive to a request for access to a computer resource, a computer system prompts the user making the request to access the computer resource to perform a new motion in an environment in which the user is monitored by a sensor system. Detected biometric data in the new motion performed by the user is identified by the computer system. A determination is made as to whether the user performing the new motion is an authenticated user based on comparing the detected biometric data with stored biometric data for a prior motion performed by the authenticated user. The computer system provides access to the computer resource when the user is identified as the authenticated user.

Abstract: A virtual reality (VR) system for VR desk application that allows a user to move in a VR environment while sitting in front of a working desk is provided. The VR system receives sensor data from a mobile device. The VR system generates a set of sitting motion data by interpreting the received sensor data as a motion of a limb of a person in a sitting posture. The VR system maps the set of sitting motion data into a set of movements in the VR environment. The VR system renders the VR environment and presents the rendered VR environment.
