摘要: A pneumatic radial tire comprises a tread provided with many blocks defined by grooves and/or sipes, in which (1) a peripheral portion of each of the blocks is chamfered in form of a curve or a straight line over a given region at a given chamfering depth in a mold during the vulcanization of the tire, and (2) the outer surface of the block becomes flat or substantially flat when the tire after the vulcanization is assembled onto a normal rim and inflated under a normal internal pressure.

摘要: A tire wherein a first bulge part and a second bulge part are formed in a circumferential direction groove. The first bulge part has a narrow-tip shape such that, in the tire tread plan view, the size in the tread width direction diminishes along a first direction in the tire circumferential direction. The second bulge part has a narrow-tip shape such that, in the tire tread plan view, the size in the tread width direction diminishes along a second direction opposite to the first direction in the tire circumferential direction. A plurality of first bulge parts and second bulge parts are provided at predetermined intervals in the tire circumferential direction. A groove part which extends in the tire circumferential direction is provided between the first bulge part and the second bulge part which opposes the first bulge part in the tread width direction.

The intra-groove groove 310,330 includes a high-angle groove section 311,331 in which an angle θ1 formed between a straight line L1 and the intra-groove groove 310,330 is equal to or more than a predetermined angle, and a low-angle groove section 312,332 in which an angle θ2 formed between the straight line L1 and the intra-groove groove 310,330 is smaller than the predetermined angle. The high-angle groove section 311,331 is positioned closer to an intra-groove center line DCL than the low-angle groove section 312,332. A width W1 of the high-angle groove section 311, 331 is wider than a width W2 of the low-angle groove section 312, 332.

摘要: A pneumatic tire (10) is provided with air chambers which have recessed portions (221), and also with constriction grooves which communicate with the air chambers and a circumferential groove (21), and the air chambers and the constriction grooves are formed in a rib-shaped land portion of the tire. The depth (DP1) of a recessed portion (221) measured from a land portion (211) making contact with the road surface is deeper at one end of the air chamber in the tire circumference direction than the other end of the air chamber. The height of the recessed portion (221) from the bottom surface (222) thereof to the ground contact surface varies in the circumferential direction of the tire. The volume of the space formed by a constriction groove and the road surface is less than the volume of the space of the air chamber formed by the recessed portion (221) and the road surface. The air chamber has a tapered shape in which the width of the air chamber in the tread width direction is reduced from the other end of the air chamber toward said end of the air chamber.

摘要: A pneumatic radial tire in which a plurality of land portion rows 2 are formed by a plurality of main grooves that extend in the circumferential direction on a tread portion of a tire, and a thin groove 3 that extends in the tire circumferential direction is formed in at least one shoulder land portion row 2A that is positioned on the tread end among the plurality of land portion rows. A land portion 5 that is positioned between, the thin groove 3 and the tread end 4 is partitioned into a plurality of blocks 5a by a lug groove 6 that extends in the tire width direction and whose maximum groove depth is set deeper than the groove depth of the thin groove, and the groove depth of the lug groove continuously changes so as to become a maximum at an intermediate position between the thin groove and the tread end. According to the present invention, it is possible to provide a pneumatic radial tire that can achieve improved drainage performance.

摘要: It is an object to improve uneven wear resistance in a tread portion in a pneumatic tire having conductive rubber arranged in a part of the tread portion. Foamed rubber is provided in the tread portion 12 and a foamed rubber conductive layer 14 employing the foamed rubber is arranged in a part of the tread portion 12. Furthermore, uneven wear due to a difference of wear resistance between the foamed rubber conductive layer 14 and other tread rubber 22 can be suppressed by setting a foaming rate of the foamed rubber conductive layer 14 higher relative to other tread rubber portion 22.
