Abstract: A positioning system having an onboard positioning device and a roadside device is provided. The onboard positioning device receives a plurality of first positioning signals and records a positioning moving locus of a vehicle according to the first positioning signals. The roadside device detects a real moving locus of the vehicle. The onboard positioning device obtains the real moving locus from the roadside device, and calculates a positioning calibration value according to coordinates of the positioning moving locus and coordinates of the real moving locus. Furthermore, the onboard positioning device receives a plurality of second positioning signals and calculates and outputs a plurality of calibrated positioning coordinates according to the second positioning signals and the positioning calibration value.

Abstract: A vehicle network transmission method and a vehicle network transmission system are provided. The vehicle network transmission method comprises the following steps. A first transmission device transmits a data signal to a second transmission device. It is determined whether the second transmission device is located in a target area. If the second transmission device is located in the target area, then a geographic location of the first transmission device is retrieved and a transmission region of the first transmission device is calculated. It is determined whether all of the third transmission devices adjacent to the second transmission device in the target area are located in the transmission region. If all of the third transmission devices adjacent to the second transmission device in the target area are located in the transmission region, then the second transmission device does not continue forwarding the data signal.

Abstract: A method, a mobile device, and a system for message transmission of a vulnerable road user (VRU) are provided. The method is adapted to a first mobile device of a first VRU and includes the following steps. Whether there exists a target mobile device within a preset range of the first VRU is determined, where the target mobile device is a mobile device that has already broadcast a personal safety message (PSM). When the target mobile device exists within the preset range, whether to broadcast a first PSM is determined according to a relative distance between the target mobile device and an intersection as well as a relative distance between the target mobile device and the first mobile device. When the target mobile device doesn't exist within the preset range, the first PSM is broadcast.

Abstract: A cooperative event data record system includes an in-car system working cooperatively with a communication system. The in-car system has a communication module, a cooperative event record processing unit and an impact determination module. The cooperative event record processing unit connects to the communication module, the impact determination module and an event data record unit. The impact determination module transmits a signal to the cooperative event record processing unit. The communication module transmits a request from the cooperative event record processing unit to a communication module element of the communication system, and receives a response from the communication module element. According to the response, the cooperative event record processing unit stores at least a video data to the event data record unit, or retrieves video data from the event data record unit.

Abstract: A method for determining the position of a mobile node applied to a roadside unit (RSU) is provided. The RSU and a plurality of mobile nodes form a communication network of a road. The method includes the steps of: obtaining, by, via at least one sensor, first road information, wherein the first road information provides absolute position distribution information associated with the mobile nodes; receiving, by a communication device, second road information from a first mobile node of the mobile nodes, wherein the second road information provides relative position distribution information associated with the first mobile node and second mobile nodes adjacent to the first mobile node; and determining, by a comparison device, the position of the first mobile node on the road according to the first road information and the second road information.
