摘要: In systems, such as sensor systems, an output signal of the system (e.g. output of the sensor corresponding to a sensed characteristic) can be generated and provided. In response to a detected error, the output signal can be adjusted to generate an error indication signal pulse to indicate that an error has been detected. The output signal can then be adjusted to return to a signal level corresponding to the sensed characteristic. In response to the error being resolved, an error resolution signal pulse can be generated.

摘要: A magnetic sensor system may include a first magnetic sensor and a second magnetic sensor. The first magnetic sensor may include a first triplet of sensor elements for measuring a magnetic field. The first triplet of sensor elements may be aligned linearly along a direction of movement. A first pair of differential signals, output by the first magnetic sensor, may indicate a position of the magnetic sensor system, along the direction of movement, relative to a magnetic pole pair. The second magnetic sensor may include a second triplet of sensor elements for measuring the magnetic field. The second triplet of sensor elements may be aligned linearly along the direction of movement. The second magnetic sensor may be positioned relative to the first magnetic sensor such that a second pair of differential signals, output by the second magnetic sensor, indicates a position of the magnetic sensor system across multiple pole pairs.

摘要: An apparatus for providing an error signal for a control unit, the error signal indicating a malfunction of a sensor unit. The apparatus includes an input module configured to receive a sensor signal from the sensor unit, the sensor signal being a periodic signal between an upper level and a lower level of a physical quantity. Further, the apparatus includes a determination module configured to determine the malfunction of the sensor unit and an output module configured to provide the error signal indicating the malfunction for the control unit. The error signal comprises a predetermined level of the physical quantity which differs from the upper level and from the lower level.

摘要: By a relative movement between an arrangement of at least three magnetic field sensors and a magnetic field generator, different discrete positional relationships can be produced between the same. A first signal is calculated as a first linear combination using at least two of three sensor signals. It is checked whether the first signal uniquely indicates one of the different discrete positional relationships. If yes, it is determined that the arrangement is located in the one discrete positional relationship. If no, a second signal is calculated as a second linear combination using at least two of the three sensor signals, at least one of which differs from the sensor signals used in the calculation of the first signal, and at least the second signal is used to determine in which of the different discrete positional relationships the arrangement is located relative to the magnetic field generator.

摘要: A signal encoder for encoding a wheel speed sensor signal includes an input interface. The input interface is configured to receive a wheel speed sensor signal providing speed information and additional information. Furthermore, the signal encoder includes a signal processing circuit. The signal processing circuit is configured to generate a first and a second speed pulse. A time interval between the first and the second speed pulse corresponds to the speed information. Additionally, the signal processing circuit is configured to generate a data pulse between the first and the second speed pulse based on the additional information. The generation of the data pulse is in in accordance with a modulation scheme having a modulation order of at least three. Furthermore, the signal encoder includes an output interface. The output interface is configured to sequentially output the first speed pulse, the data pulse, and the second speed pulse.
