Abstract: Systems, apparatus, articles of manufacture, and methods are disclosed to manage network slices. An example apparatus includes interface circuitry to acquire network information, machine-readable instructions, and at least one processor circuit to be programmed by the machine-readable instructions to reserve first network slices to satisfy service level objectives (SLOs) corresponding to first nodes, reserve second network slices to satisfy SLOs corresponding to second nodes, and reconfigure the first network slices to accept network communications from the second nodes when the network communications from the second nodes exceed a performance metric threshold.

Abstract: Methods and apparatus for resource lifetime aware cooling schemes are disclosed. A disclosed example apparatus to manage a computing system includes at least one memory, machine readable instructions, and processor circuitry. The processor circuitry is to at least one of instantiate or execute the machine readable instructions to determine an effective age of a computing resource of the computing system, the computing resource associated with a degree of cooling thereof, determine a remaining life of the computing resource, compare the remaining life to a reliability threshold, and adjust at least one of a utilization or the degree of cooling of the computing resource in response to the remaining life not meeting the reliability threshold to adjust the remaining life to meet or exceed the reliability threshold.

Abstract: Autonomous unmanned vehicles (UVs) for responding to situations are described. Embodiments include UVs that launch upon detection of a situation, operate in the area of the situation, and collect and send information about the situation. The UVs may launch from a vehicle involved in the situation, a vehicle responding to the situation, or from a fixed station. In other embodiments, the UVs also provide communications relays to the situation and may facilitate access to the situation by responders. The UVs further may act as decoupled sensors for vehicles. In still other embodiments, the collected information may be used to recreate the situation as it happened.
