摘要: The sailing vessel of the present invention includes a hull of omnidirectional construction, and a generally triangular sail which is supported along two side edges, with the third side edge unsupported and extending generally horizontally. The angular position of the sail with respect to the hull is fixed, and the heading of the boat is varied in order to orient the sail at the desired angle with respect to the wind. A pivotally mounted centerboard controls the direction or heading of the boat and control lines are provided for altering the shape of the sail to further control the direction and speed of sailing.

摘要: This footrest device is for use on the commonly known "moped", or bicycle, and represents a combination footrest and pedal. The footrest device comprises a pair of elongated members, which are fixedly secured to the ends of a rotatable crankaxle extending from the opposite sides of the vehicle. A pair of pedals are connected to the elongated members at diametrically positioned opposite ends. The pedals are used to manually rotate the crankaxle through the elongated members. When the pedals are not used the rider rests his feet upon the elongated members.

摘要: The two wheel skating device of the present invention contains two large size wheels with each over four inches in diameter. The wheels are symmetrically arranged on opposite sides of a frame which accommodates a skater's shoe. The wheels are rotationally mounted on axles coaxially extending from opposite sides of a swinging arm which is pivotally connected to the frame. Each wheel is rotationally mounted through a wheel assembly including unidirectional needle bearings for rotation in only one direction.

摘要: The rotary piston engine has a rotatable annular cylinder and rotatable piston elements interconnected through a cross-linkage mechanism eccentrically arranged relative to the longitudinal axis of the annular cylinder for causing relative oscillatory motion between the piston elements and the annular cylinder. The cross-linkage mechanism has cross arms coupled through a cross connecting arm to the eccentric shaft such that the cross arms do not cross over in each revolution of the annular cylinder.
