Abstract: A display device includes: multiple layers including a display element layer, the multiple layers including a sealing layer for covering the display element layer; and a polarization plate attached to a first layer and a second layer of the multiple layers with an adhesive layer. The multiple layers includes inorganic films and organic films. All of the inorganic films are disposed to avoid an edge area that is at least a part of a peripheral portion of the resin substrate. The polarization plate has an edge above the edge area of the resin substrate. The first layer is disposed to avoid the edge area of the resin substrate. The first layer at an edge has an upper surface sloping downward toward the edge area. The second layer has a portion in the edge area of the resin substrate and between the resin substrate and the adhesive layer.

Abstract: A display device includes a display circuit layer including a first surface and a second surface and including a display area in which an image is displayed on the first surface, a heat conductive sheet overlapping the display circuit layer below the second surface, and an optical fingerprint sensor inside the display area below the heat conductive sheet and overlapping the display circuit layer. The heat conductive sheet includes a first area overlapping the optical fingerprint sensor and a second area overlapping the display area around the optical fingerprint sensor. The heat conductive sheet includes a heat conductive material, has a shape having a light transmittance required for sensing by the optical fingerprint sensor in the first area, and has no light transmittance in the second area.

Abstract: A terminal is formed on a substrate. An anisotropic conductive film is disposed on the terminal. A flexible printed board is connected to the terminal via the anisotropic conductive film. At least one opening is formed in the terminal. An adhesion reinforcing portion as a projection is formed inside the opening. Abstract: An image processing IC detects a fixed pattern displayed on the OEL panel within a period of time when a power supply is switched ON. A display position of the fixed pattern detected when the power supply is switched OFF is stored in a first memory, the display position of the fixed pattern stored in the first memory when the power supply is switched ON is read and sent to a driving circuit (DRV). The DRV measures element characteristics of a pixel at the display position of the fixed pattern sent from the image processing IC, compares with element characteristics of a pixel before deterioration stored in a second memory and sends a comparison result to the image processing IC. The image processing IC corrects image data input to the pixel at the display position of the fixed pattern based on the comparison result sent from the DRV.
