Abstract: A non-oriented electrical steel sheet includes, by mass %, C: 0.010% or less, Si: 1.0% or more and 5.0% or less, Mn: 0.05% or more and 5.0% or less, P: 0.1% or less, S: 0.01% or less, Al: 3.0% or less, N: 0.005% or less, and the balance being Fe and inevitable impurities, wherein an average crystal grain size is 50 μm or less, and a sum SA of area ratios of crystal grains with oriented in a rolling direction or a direction perpendicular to the rolling direction and a sum SB of area ratios of crystal grains with oriented in the rolling direction or the direction perpendicular to the rolling direction satisfy SA−SB≥0.

Abstract: A non-oriented electrical steel sheet produced by hot-rolling a steel slab containing Si: 2.8 to 6.5 mass % and Zn: 0.0005 to 0.0050 mass % followed by cold rolling and finish annealing, a coating agent containing at least one element from Sn, Sb, P, S, Se, As, Te, B, Pb, and Bi is applied to the surface after annealing forming an insulation coating with nitriding-suppressing ability. Alternatively, an intermediate layer containing at least one element from Sn, Sb, P, S, Se, As, Te, B, Pb, and Bi and having a nitriding-suppressing ability forms on the steel sheet iron matrix after the annealing and forms an insulation coating, without above elements, on the intermediate layer thus obtaining a non-oriented electrical steel sheet wherein a high strength rotor core with and stator core with excellent magnetic is simultaneously obtained, and a motor core including a stator core and rotor core from the steel sheet.
In a production of a non-oriented electrical steel sheet by hot-rolling a steel slab containing Si: 2.8 to 6.5 mass % and Zn: 0.0005 to 0.0050 mass % followed by cold rolling and finish annealing, a coating agent containing at least one element selected from Sn, Sb, P, S, Se, As, Te, B, Pb, and Bi is applied to the steel sheet surface after the finish annealing to form an insulation coating with a nitriding-suppressing ability. Alternatively, an intermediate layer containing at least one element selected from Sn, Sb, P, S, Se, As, Te, B, Pb, and Bi and having a nitriding-suppressing ability is formed on the steel sheet iron matrix after the finish annealing and form an insulation coating not containing above elements is formed on the intermediate layer thus to obtain a non-oriented electrical steel sheet from which a rotor core with high strength and stator core with excellent magnetic properties after the stress-relief annealing can be obtained at the same time, and a motor core comprising a stator core and rotor core is produced from the steel sheet.-

A non-oriented electrical steel sheet has a chemical composition containing, by mass %, C: 0.0050% or less, Si: 1.50% or more and 4.00% or less, Al: 0.500% or less, Mn: 0.10% or more and 5.00% or less, S: 0.0200% or less, P: 0.200% or less, N: 0.0050% or less, and O: 0.0200% or less, with the balance consisting of Fe and inevitable impurities, in which the steel sheet has an Ar3 transformation temperature of 700° C. or higher, a grain size of 80 μm or more and 200 μm or less, a Vickers hardness of 140 HV or more and 230 HV or less.

Abstract: To stably improve the magnetic flux density by utilizing induction heating and radiant heating during final annealing of a non-oriented electrical steel sheet. A method of manufacturing a non-oriented electrical steel sheet, including subjecting a slab having a predetermined chemical composition to hot rolling with or without performing hot-rolled sheet annealing, and then to cold rolling either once, or twice or more with intermediate annealing performed therebetween, and then to final annealing, where a material before final cold rolling has a recrystallization ratio of less than 80% and a {100} intensity of 8 or less in a ¼ layer, and in the final annealing, an average heating rate from 600° C. to 720° C. is 50° C./s or higher, and an average heating rate from 720° C. to 760° C. is 5° C./s or higher.

Abstract: A method for producing a non-oriented electrical steel sheet by hot rolling a steel slab having a chemical composition including C: not more than 0.0050 mass %, Si: not more than 4.0 mass %, Mn: 0.03-3.0 mass %, P: not more than 0.1 mass %, Se: not more than 0.0010 mass %, Al: not more than 3.0 mass %, Ni: not more than 3.0 mass %, Cr: not more than 5.0 mass %, Ti: not more than 0.003 mass %, and Nb: not more than 0.003 mass % and subjecting the sheet to hot band annealing if necessary, a cold rolling, and further a finish annealing, wherein the heating in the finish annealing is conducted in two stages of performing induction heating and subsequently a radiation heating and a zone from 600° C. to 740° C. in the induction heating is heated at an average heating rate of not less than 50° C./sec, whereby a high magnetic flux density can be obtained stably.

Abstract: In a process using a thin slab, ridging is suppressed. A method of producing a hot-rolled steel sheet for a non-oriented electrical steel sheet includes: continuous casting producing a steel slab having a defined chemical composition and a thickness of 50 mm to 200 mm; transferring the steel slab to a furnace while maintaining a surface temperature of the steel slab at 800° C. or more; holding the steel slab in the furnace under conditions including a hold temperature of 1100° C. to 1300° C. and a hold time of 60 s or more; and a hot rolling process under conditions of (1) and (2) of rough rolling, reheating treatment, and finish rolling in sequence to obtain a hot-rolled steel sheet: (1) total rolling reduction of the rough rolling: 80% or more, and (2) total rolling reduction of the finish rolling: 80% or more.
