    摘要: Provided is a repellent material capable of maintaining a stable repelling effect for a long period of time. A pest repellent material of the present invention includes porous particles including primary particles forming pores and aggregating, and an insect repellent component present in the pores. The primary particles contain silica as a component, and in an infrared absorption spectrum of the pest repellent material, a ratio (I1/I2) of the maximum absorbance (I1) at 3730 to 3750 cm−1 to the maximum absorbance (I2) at 1160 to 1260 cm−1 is 0.005 or less. A contact angle of the porous particles with water is greater than 90°, and the contact angle of the porous particles with the insect repellent component is 1° to 90°. It is preferred that 2 to 5 ml of the insect repellent component is contained based on 1 gram of the porous particles.

    摘要: A porous silica particle optimized as the scrubbing agent is used for a cleansing cosmetic. The porous silica particle has an average circularity of 0.1 to 0.5, a pore volume of 1.0 to 2.0 ml/g, a mode diameter of 50 to 600 μm, and a ratio of the maximum particle diameter to the mode diameter of 3.0 or less. The porous silica particle moreover has a median size of 0.5 to 25 μm and the maximum particle diameter of 1 to 100 μm, after rubbing with a load of 1.0 to 1.4 KPa for 30 seconds. With the cleansing cosmetic containing this particle, the skin is rubbed by the frictional force generated by the friction with the skin at the rubbing. Therefore, the mild peeling effect for the stratum corneum is obtained and the damage of the skin and the micro damage on the stratum corneum can be prevented.

    摘要: The hollow particles according to the present invention has a balloon structure which includes a cavity inside a shell, and include convex portions with a size of 3 to 100 nm on the surface. The particles have a true specific gravity of 0.3 to 3.0 g/cm3, a specific surface area (m2/cm3) per unit volume calculated by a BET method of not less than 0.5 and less than 60, and an average particle diameter (d1) of 1 to 20 μm. Cosmetics containing such hollow particles have a soft texture property similar to plastic beads.

    摘要: The present invention provides organic-inorganic composite particles having a suitable biodegradability. The organic-inorganic composite particles of the present invention include a silica component and a biodegradable plastic. The organic-inorganic composite particles have a mean particle diameter (d1) ranging from 0.5 μm to 25 μm, an absolute specific gravity greater than 1.0 g/cm3 and equal to or smaller than 2.0 g/cm3, and a contact angle with water of 90° or less. A cosmetic product including the organic-inorganic composite particles has good texture characteristics.
