    摘要: Methods and devices for grant-based uplink transmission in an unlicensed band are provided. Uplink grant messages are transmitted to electronic devices (EDs) in order to indicate time-frequency resources that are allocated to the EDs for uplink transmission in an unlicensed spectrum band. For a given ED, in the event that a first listen-before-talk (LBT) operation for the time-frequency resource allocated to the ED fails, the ED performs a second LBT operation within the allocated time-frequency resource at a start time based on a start point configuration within the allocated time-frequency resource. If the second LBT operation succeeds, the ED transmits an uplink transmission within a remaining portion of the allocated time-frequency resource that includes an activation signal to indicate a start of the uplink transmission, and uplink payload data.

According to an embodiment of the disclosure, upon determining that data is to be transmitted to the wireless device in the eco state, a network node operates to transmit a unicast notification message to the wireless device in order to inform the wireless device of the impending data transmission. According to another embodiment of the disclosure, in response to receiving the unicast notification message, the wireless device operates to receive the data in accordance with the unicast notification message. To this end, the wireless device might for example try to receive data for a time period following the unicast notification message. Meanwhile, the wireless device may remain in the eco state.

    摘要: Methods and systems are provided for signaling for semi-static configuration in grant free uplink transmissions. Radio resource control (RRC) signaling is used to provide information from a base station to a user equipment (UE) that configure the grant free transmission resource to be used by the UE. In some implementations, the RRC signaling may be used in conjunction with system information that is transmitted to all UEs and/or Downlink Control Information (DCI) that the UE needs to access subsequent to the RRC signaling. In some implementations, the DCI includes an activation or deactivation indicator that the UE monitors to determine when the UE is allowed to transmit to the BS or should stop transmitting. Implementations allow for grant free transmission resources to be configured on an individual user based and a group basis.

A transmit receive point in a first group of TRPs transmits with a first synchronization sequence. The TRPs of the first group share a common first characteristic and the TRPs of the second group share a common second characteristic.     摘要: System and methods are disclosed in which pilots are used to assist in identifying grant-free uplink transmissions originating from the same UE. In one embodiment, a base station receives a grant-free uplink transmission that carries initial data from a user equipment and an initial pilot. The initial pilot is successfully decoded and the initial data is unsuccessfully decoded. The successfully decoded initial pilot and the unsuccessfully decoded initial data are stored in memory. Another grant-free uplink transmission carrying retransmission data from the user equipment and a retransmission pilot is then received. The retransmission pilot is successfully decoded and used to identify the successfully decoded initial pilot in the memory and the unsuccessfully decoded initial data. The retransmission data and the unsuccessfully decoded initial data are used to successfully decode the initial data.
