摘要: Disclosed is an organic EL display panel having pixels arranged in matrix includes a substrate, pixel electrodes disposed on the substrate for each of the pixels, insulating layers disposed so as to cover each upper part of the pixel electrodes and having not less than three slit-shaped openings extending and arranged in a column direction, partition walls extending in the column direction and partitioning the pixel electrodes in a row direction, organic functional layers disposed on the pixel electrodes and including organic luminous layers configured to cause electroluminescence in each of the openings, and light transmissive counter electrodes disposed on upper parts of the organic functional layers. Levels of top faces of the partition walls are higher than that of the insulating layers. Row-direction widths of openings adjacent to the partition walls in the row direction are larger than row-direction widths of openings not adjacent to the partition walls.

摘要: An organic electroluminescence (EL) display panel having pixels arranged in a matrix of rows and columns includes: a substrate; pixel electrode layers that are made of a light-reflective material and are arranged on the substrate in the matrix; an insulating layer that is provided above the substrate and the pixel electrode layers; organic functional layers that are provided above the pixel electrode layers; and a light-transmissive counter electrode layer that is provided above the organic functional layers, wherein the insulating layer has a first opening and second openings for each of the pixel electrode layers, the first opening being elongated in a column direction, the second openings each being shorter than the first opening in the column direction and being lined up adjacent to the first opening, and the organic functional layers include light-emitting layers in which organic electroluminescence occurs in the first opening and the second openings.

As viewed in plan, a ratio of an area of the first functional layer to an area of the pixel region in which the first functional layer is present being lower than a ratio of an area of the second functional layer to an area of the pixel region in which the second functional layer is present.

摘要: A display unit includes a plurality of light-emitting sections and an optical filter. The plurality of light-emitting sections emit color light beams having different colors. The optical filter is disposed on light emission side of the plurality of light-emitting sections, and transmits the color light beams while selectively removing a part of a wavelength band of the color light beams. The optical filter includes the first filter layer and the second filter layer. The first filter layer transmits a first band including a center wavelength out of the wavelength band of each of the color light beams, and removes a second band that is at least a part of a band other than the first band. The second filter layer reduces transmissivity of a third band that is a part of the first band of at least one color light beam out of the color light beams.

Cross-sectional profiles of the openings taken along the row direction are uniform in the column direction.
