Abstract: A driving assistance device is the driving assistance device used in a vehicle capable of switching between autonomous driving and driving that requires operation by the driver, and includes a different vehicle information acquisition unit that acquires autonomous driving information on different vehicles on a traveling road of the vehicle, an autonomous driving ratio acquisition unit that acquires a ratio of autonomous driving in the different vehicles from the autonomous driving information on the different vehicles acquired by the different vehicle information acquisition unit, and a notification control unit that provides information for supporting determination on switching between autonomous driving and driving that requires operation by a driver if the ratio of autonomous driving in the different vehicles is equal to or larger than a predetermined ratio.

Abstract: A vehicle device includes a video acquisition unit configured to acquire videos captured by cameras configured to capture surroundings of a vehicle; a light emission controller configured to control light emission of a light beam pattern which is emitted by light emitting devices and with which the ground is irradiated at certain positions with respect to the vehicle; an image processing unit 24 configured to generate, using the videos acquired, a bird's-eye view video including the light beam pattern; a superimposing image generation unit configured to generate a superimposing image at a position corresponding to the light beam pattern included in the bird's-eye view video; and an image determination processing unit 27 configured to detect, in the bird's-eye view video, an overlapping portion of the superimposing image and an image of the light beam pattern and determine whether camera parameters for generating the bird's-eye view video are accurately calibrated.

Abstract: A dashcam serving as an on-vehicle image capturing and recording apparatus includes: a cancellation processing unit configured to perform cancellation processing for reducing an electronic device sound on a sound acquired by a surrounding image/sound acquisition unit based on the characteristics of an electronic device sound acquired by an electronic device sound acquisition unit; and an abnormality detection unit configured to detect an abnormality of a vehicle, in which the acquired sound of the surroundings of the vehicle and a cancel sound are temporality recorded, a recording control unit is configured to discard the cancel sound and integrate only the sound of the surroundings of the vehicle with the image and record the integrated data when the abnormality detection unit does not detect an abnormality and otherwise records the cancel sounds and the sounds of the surroundings of the vehicle along with the image as overwriting prohibited data.
