    摘要: A rolling door drive assembly including a final drive unit for connection to a door, whereby the door may be rotated by the final drive unit about an axis to open and close the door, a motor, a drive between the final drive unit and the motor operatively engaged with the motor, one or more drive axes about which one or more components of the drive rotate to transfer drive from the motor to the final drive unit, an actuator to bring the drive to a first configuration at which the motor is engaged to drive the final drive unit through the drive and to bring the drive to a second configuration at which the motor is disengaged from driving the final drive unit, and a resilient spring for urging the drive into one of the configurations. The actuator includes a cam rotatable about a cam axis separate from the one or more drive axes. The cam acts to set the desired configuration of the drive.

    摘要: Embodiments of electric motor driven door or barrier opener with a manually operable drive for use in the event of a power failure are provided. The operator comprises a gear box drive connectable with an electric motor of said operator, said gear box comprising an output for drive coupling with said door to effect opening and closing of said door by said motor and a shaft that drive rotates when said motor rotates. The shaft carries a free wheeling manually rotatable drive wheel as said manually operable drive and useable in the event of power failure to effect manual drive rotation movement of said shaft to open and close the door via said gearbox. The manually rotatable drive wheel comprises at least one drive coupler mounted to move in a generally radially extending direction relative to a central longitudinal axis of said shaft so that manual rotation of said drive wheel in the event of a power failure will effect a movement of the at least one drive coupler in the generally radially extending direction to effect a drive coupling between said drive wheel and said shaft to input drive to said shaft to permit manual opening and or closing of said door.

    摘要: A control system for a door or gate which is movable between an open position and a closed position by an automated operator, comprising a door travel organizer which divides the door travel into a plurality of segments and each segment into a plurality of sectors; a sensor to sense at each sector, the resistance of the door or gate against opening and closing whilst moving between the open position and the closed position over a predetermined number of open close cycles, and to generate at least one signal representative of that resistance in each segment over the open close cycle, a recorder connected to the sensor to receive each representative signal and to store such a signal; a comparator to compare each signal with a resistance trip point set for each segment and generate a resistance profile for the door or gate over an open close cycle of the door or gate; a calculator to calculate the resistance trip point for the door or gate for each segment based upon the highest resistance encountered in any sector of that segment; and a controller to receive each trip point and set each trip point as a threshold for each segment such that if resistance of the door or gate sensed by the sensor in any sector exceeds that threshold for that interval, the movement of the door or gate is interrupted.

    摘要: A obstruction beam protection system for sensing an object in the path of the door during closing of the door by a door operator and for inhibiting operation for closing of the door. The beam protection system comprises a beam transmitter and beam receiver for positioning proximate to a passageway to be closed by the door, so as, when in use, to project a beam from the beam transmitter across the passageway to be receivable by the beam receiver. The beam transmitter and the beam receiver are provided with a local communication system for communication with an operator communication system associated with the operator. The beam transmitter and the beam receiver are both adapted to operate in a low power sleep state and a wake state. In the wake state the beam transmitter will transmit a beam across the passageway to be receivable by said beam receiver and so said beam receiver will be able to process a received beam as an indication of an object not being in the path of the door, the absence or interruption of a received beam as an indication of an object being in the path of the door. This later condition of absence or interruption can be communicated via the local communication system to the operator communication system to inhibit said operator from closing said door by appropriate operation of the operator electric control circuitry.
