    摘要: A command input method makes use of a three-dimensional motion recognition device embodied with an inertia system and is particularly directed to extend the total number of inputable commands using initial posture information as well as movement pattern of a motion recognition device. The command input method includes the steps of: determining initial posture at start point when movement of the motion recognition device is generated; determining a pattern of the movement at the end of the movement; and deciding a command from the determined initial posture and the movement pattern. Since the three-dimensional spatial motion can be further differentiated into different commands by the initial posture of the input device, the command input system can be simplified in structure with less number of recognizable motions.

    摘要: Provided are an IPTV service system and a method thereof. The IPTV service system includes: a headend, a set-top box, and a plurality of multicast routers. The headend assigns a multicast group address for each channel and assigns a source address for each PID with respect to an MPEG-TS and packetizes the MPEG-TS into a plurality of packet streams. The set-top box identifies a user-selected channel and the necessary elementary streams in the MPEG-TS for the selected channel, and requests selective reception of only packet streams corresponding to the selected channel and the necessary elementary streams from the plurality of packet streams. The plurality of multicast routers form a multicast path between the headend and the set-top box. Accordingly, while services such as a multi-angle service, a multi-lingual service, a mosaic EPG service, and a personalized EPG service are realized in one multicast control method together with viewing of a general broadcasting channel, efficient use of bandwidth can be achieved.

The subscriber terminal-based personalized broadcast service method includes receiving broadcast program schedule information from a broadcast head-end and receiving content schedule information from at least one content server; creating a personalized channel schedule in which a plurality of broadcast programs and a plurality of contents are arranged according to time with reference to the broadcast program schedule information and the content schedule information; and receiving a broadcast program or a content requested with reference to the personalized channel schedule from the broadcast head-end or the content server. Therefore, it is possible for a subscriber to view various broadcast programs and contents at any desired time. In addition, it is possible for a service provider to reduce the cost for the establishment and maintenance of a server and prevent the quality of broadcast services from deteriorating due to server traffic or load.

    摘要: A congestion control access gateway and a congestion control method for the same are provided. The congestion control access gateway interfaces between a broadband convergence network and a ubiquitous sensor network including sensors and terminals. The congestion control access gateway receives data from the ubiquitous sensor network. When a congestion situation has occurred, the congestion control access gateway detects the congestion situation based on data received in the congestion situation and broadcasts congestion notification and control messages in response to the congestion situation detection. The congestion control access gateway generates a congestion situation detection profile as a result of the congestion situation detection and performs priority queuing of the received data based on the congestion situation detection profile and service classes. The congestion control access gateway determines destination of the queued data using the congestion situation detection profile and routes the data to a corresponding service.
