Apparatus for assembling substrates of a planar fluorescent lamp including a base mounted movable along a process line, the base having an upper surface for placing a first substrate of the fluorescent lamp, at least one movable board over the base, the movable board being mounted rotatable between a first position and a second position, at least one pair of parallel links each having one end rotatably coupled to the base and the other end rotatably coupled to the movable board for the movable board rotatable from the first position to the second position, a plurality of clamping members mounted on the movable board for holding a second substrate of the fluorescent lamp at a position under the movable board, a stopping member mounted in the process line over a direction of movement of the base, for coming into contact with the movable board to cause rotation of the movable board, and a damping member for making a damping action at a time the first, and second substrates of the fluorescent lamp come into contact with each other as the movable board rotates, downwardly.

A liquid crystal panel is disclosed that minimizes driving power consumption. The liquid crystal panel includes a plurality of gate lines and a plurality of data lines defining pixel regions. Pixels are arranged in the pixel regions and respond to signals from corresponding gate lines, corresponding data lines, and previous pixels adjacent the data lines. Accordingly, since the swing width of the pixel voltage signals supplied to the data lines is reduced, the driving power consumption can be reduced and impulse type noise can be suppressed.

Disclosed herein is a laser module package and method of manufacturing the laser module package. In the present invention, the optical structure of the laser module package is provided so that a conventional laser diode can be easily coupled to an optical fiber by employing an additional lens (correction lens) behind the laser module. Furthermore, an adjustment device for easily moving the additional lens along an optical axis is employed so that parallel light can be output from the additional lens by utilizing the additional lens and the adjustment device in conjunction with the laser diode from which parallel light is not output.

The present invention relates to a signal combining apparatus of the active phase array antenna. The signal combining apparatus includes a plurality of signal distributors for receiving a signal from an antenna array element located at boundary between sub antenna arrays and distributing the signal to the sub antenna arrays, which include the antenna array element; and a plurality of signal combiners for combining the signal from a plurality of antenna elements and the signal distributors in corresponding sub antenna array. The present invention can prevent degrade a performance caused by sudden phase difference and can effectively receive tracing signal by passing a signal of antenna element located at boundary between sub arrays antenna to both signal combiners corresponding to both of sub antenna arrays.

The liquid crystal display device is implemented with a combination of an ODC driving scheme and a scan driving scheme. Specifically, in the scan driving scheme, a backlight driving voltage has a waveform that initially has an initial peak value that decreases as time passes.

A liquid crystal display (LCD) device includes an LCD panel, a frequency multiplier to multiply a frame frequency to generate a multiplied frame frequency that includes an odd frame and an even frame, a data converter to modulate N-bit input data supplied in accordance with the odd and even frames from the frequency multiplier into (N−1)-bit data, and a data driver to apply the (N−1) bit data from the data converter to the LCD panel.
